Process for purifying hydrocarbon streams using low reactivity adsorbents

This present disclosure relates to processes for removing contaminants from hydrocarbon streams, e.g. removing chlorides, CO.sub.2, COS, H.sub.2S, AsH.sub.3, methanol, mercaptans and other S- or O-containing organic compounds from olefins, paraffins, aromatics, naphthenes and other hydrocarbon streams. The process involves contacting the stream with an adsorbent which comprises a zeolite, an alumina component and a metal component e.g. sodium, in an amount at least 30% of the zeolite's ion exchange capacity.

The method includes receiving a stream of CO2-rich gas; treating the stream of CO2-rich gas to remove impurities therefrom; preparing an aqueous mixture for absorbing carbon dioxide, the aqueous mixture having at least one inorganic nitrogen compound in a range of 0.1-50 wt % of the aqueous mixture, the at least one inorganic nitrogen compound is a nitrogen source for microorganisms; absorbing carbon dioxide from the stream of CO2-rich gas into the aqueous mixture, the aqueous mixture with absorbed carbon dioxide forming a feed medium; and adding the feed medium into a bioprocess.

Modified Metal-Organic Framework (MOF) Compositions, Process of Making and Process of Use Thereof

This invention relates to modified MOF materials, methods of preparing them and processes using them. A modified MOF of the invention is modified by impregnating a MOF with an inorganic metal salt. The starting MOF contains at least one linker or ligand which contains an aryl amino group as part of its structure. These modified MOFs are able to adsorb either basic or acidic toxic industrial compounds (TIC). The modified MOFs can be used to remove TICs from various gaseous streams such as air.

A hybrid stepping motor has a connector housing formed integrally with an insulator having an upper insulator and a lower insulator. The hybrid stepping motor includes a stator core and output terminals concentrically disposed outside the stator core. A wiring pattern serving as the output terminals has connector pins and land portions disposed eccentrically with respect to one another. The land portions are formed on an outer edge side of the wiring pattern. A surface, which is an uppermost surface of the wiring pattern, is located below a lowermost surface, in which jumper wires and lead wires pass, of the lower insulator. The lead wires are pulled out from a lower side, and are pulled out to guiding grooves.
