This present disclosure relates to processes for removing contaminants from hydrocarbon streams, e.g. removing chlorides, CO.sub.2, COS, H.sub.2S, AsH.sub.3, methanol, mercaptans and other S- or O-containing organic compounds from olefins, paraffins, aromatics, naphthenes and other hydrocarbon streams. The process involves contacting the stream with an adsorbent which comprises a zeolite, an alumina component and a metal component e.g. sodium, in an amount at least 30% of the zeolite's ion exchange capacity.

EXHAUST GAS TREATMENT APPARATUS

A hybrid stepping motor has a connector housing formed integrally with an insulator having an upper insulator and a lower insulator. The hybrid stepping motor includes a stator core and output terminals concentrically disposed outside the stator core. A wiring pattern serving as the output terminals has connector pins and land portions disposed eccentrically with respect to one another. The land portions are formed on an outer edge side of the wiring pattern. A surface, which is an uppermost surface of the wiring pattern, is located below a lowermost surface, in which jumper wires and lead wires pass, of the lower insulator. The lead wires are pulled out from a lower side, and are pulled out to guiding grooves.

In one aspect the invention provides a fumigant gas capture apparatus. This apparatus includes at least one channel adapted for connection to a volume containing a fumigant gas, the channel defining an inlet which receives gas and an outlet which allows gas to exit the channel. The apparatus also includes at least one drive structure arranged to drive fumigant gas through the channel, at least one spray nozzle adapted to deliver a treatment liquid into the channel, and at least one packing element positioned within the channel to allow a spray nozzle or nozzle to spray treatment liquid on to the packing element.

Introduced in adsorption filter for inhaled halogenated anesthetics for cardiopulmonary circulation bypass

Improvements introduced in adsorption filter for inhaled halogenated anesthetics for cardiopulmonary bypass. It relates to an adsorption filter (10) of the type pertaining to the field of medical devices, more specifically, used to adsorb inhaled halogenated anesthetics that are eliminated through the output of the membrane oxygenators (20) of the cardiopulmonary bypass circuit (CPB); said filter (10) contains a hollow reservoir (11) for preservation of adsorber elements (ED) of the activated charcoal type (30), said reservoir (11) being of tubular cylindrical form, and it receives on one of the free extremities (11a) a cover (12) whose internal diameter (d1) is greater than the external diameter (d2) of the cylindrical reservoir (11), so as to produce an access chamber (C1) for the input of the inhaled anesthetic (AI) that, in turn, penetrates through a tubular member (12a) in the central portion of the cover (12), where a tube (Tb1) for connection with the oxygenator device (20) is installed.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TREATING CONTAMINATED WATER AS A SOURCE FOR HYDROGEN
20250002379 · 2025-01-02 ·

Systems and methods for treating contaminated water as a source for hydrogen is disclosed herein. A hydrogen-gas-containing gaseous byproduct from treating contaminated water is collected, and gases other than hydrogen are removed therefrom to form a hydrogen-rich gaseous product. The hydrogen-rich gaseous product may then be used as fuel to power the contaminated water treatment step.
