Lysinibacillus fusiformis with methylamine degradability and application thereof
The present invention discloses a strain of Lysinibacillus fusiformis with methylamine degradability and the application thereof. This strain, named Lysinibacillus fusiformis GDUTAN2, was deposited on May 24, 2017 in the China Center for Type Culture Collection in Wuhan University, Wuhan City, Hubei Province with a deposit number of CCTCC NO. M 2017284. This Lysinibacillus fusiformis GDUTAN2 was Grain-positive and rod-shaped, and the colony appeared to be round, white and transparent, having a diameter of 1-2 mm. The Lysinibacillus fusiformis GDUTAN2 of the present invention can be applied to environmental restoration, degrading methylamine in the environment at a high degradation efficiency. When it degraded methylamine for 96 h at a substrate concentration of 130 mg/L, the degradation efficiency could reach 32.8%.
Separated gas stream point of use abatement device
Embodiments of point-of-use (POU) abatement device and methods of abating a plurality of gas streams from a corresponding plurality of processing chambers are provided herein. In some embodiments, a compact POU abatement device includes a plurality of inlets respectively coupled to a plurality of process chambers in which each of the process chambers gas streams is isolated from the other gas streams. In some embodiments, the compact POU abatement device can include a plurality of oxidation devices and a corresponding plurality of wet scrubber columns each directly coupled to ones of the plurality of inlets to receive a gas stream from a corresponding process chamber.
CZTS SORBENT
Various embodiments disclosed relate to extraction of target materials using a CZTS sorbent. A method of extracting a target material from a medium includes contacting a copper zinc tin sulfur (CZTS) sorbent with the target material in the medium including the target material to form a used CZTS sorbent that includes the target material.
USE OF FERMENTATION TAIL GAS IN INTEGRATED GASIFICATION AND GAS FERMENTATION SYSTEM
The disclosure provides for the separation and combustion of at least one hydrocarbon, oxygenate, sulfur compound, and or nitrogen compound, from industrial gas or gasification derived syngas to generate steam. A gasification process and a gas fermentation process may be integrated using tail gas from the fermentation process for the flame to combust tar and other compounds from the syngas generated by a gasification process. Integration may be achieved by removing tar and other compounds from industrial gas or gasification derived syngas using an adsorbent and regenerating the adsorbent using tail gas from the gas fermentation process. Tail gas enriched with the desorbed tar and other compounds may be used to generate steam in a steam boiler and the steam may be used for a variety of purposes including power generation to power, for example, a compressor of the gas fermentation process.
Filter medium
The invention describes a filter medium (10), in particular for an air filter, in particular an interior air filter or for a fuel cell, including at least three active layers: a catalytic active layer (12) comprising catalytic activated carbon particles (12a), a second active layer (14) comprising impregnated or catalytic activated carbon particles (14a), a third active layer (16) comprising impregnated or catalytic activated carbon particles (16a), wherein at least one active layer comprises impregnated activated carbon particles and the three active layers (12, 14, 16) differ from one another. The invention further discloses a filter media body including the filter medium; a filter element including the filter media body or the filter medium; an air filter including the filter element or the filter media body or the filter medium, and a production method for producing the filter medium.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR TREATING FOUNDRY PROCESS EXHAUST GAS
The present invention relates to a method and a system for the treatment of exhaust gas from industrial processes comprising at least the following consecutive steps: a) passing an exhaust gas comprising volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and/or amines through a catalytic zone at elevated temperatures, said catalytic zone comprises a deNO.sub.x-catalyst and an oxidation catalyst thereby providing a first treated gas stream, and b) subjecting the first treated gas stream to ultraviolet radiation in order cause photooxidation.
ADSORBENT-ASSISTED STABILIZATION OF HIGHLY REACTIVE GASES
A method of adsorbing a highly reactive gas onto an adsorbent material comprising adsorbing the highly reactive gas to the adsorbent material. The absorbent material comprises at least one Lewis basic functional group, or pores of a size to hold a single molecule of the highly reactive gas, or inert moieties which are provided to the adsorbent material at the same time at the same time as the highly reactive gas, prior to adsorbing the highly reactive gas or after adsorbing the highly reactive gas, or the highly reactive gas reacts with moieties of the adsorbent material resulting in passivation of the adsorbent material. A rate of decomposition of the adsorbed highly reactive gas is lower than a rate of decomposition for the neat gas at equal volumetric loadings and equal temperatures for both the adsorbed highly reactive gas and the neat gas.
Thermal power generation system and control method for same
A thermal power generation system includes: a boiler; at least one steam turbine; a generator; a condenser; at least one low-pressure feed water; a high-pressure feed water pump; at least one high-pressure feed water heater capable of heating water pumped by the high-pressure feed water pump by utilizing extracted steam; a catalyst device including at least one kind of catalyst capable of promoting reduction reaction of nitrogen oxide and oxidation reaction of metallic mercury, the nitrogen oxide and the metallic mercury both being contained in the exhaust gas; at least one mercuric oxide removing device capable of removing mercuric oxide produced by the oxidation reaction of the metallic mercury from the exhaust gas; and an exhaust gas temperature adjustment device capable of adjusting a temperature of the exhaust gas at the catalyst device, by adjusting heating of the water by the at least one high-pressure feed water heater.
