EXHAUST TREATMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
An exhaust treatment system includes a dust-removal system. The dust-removal system has an electric field device (1021) and an exhaust cooling device. The electric field device (1021) includes an inlet of the electric field device, an outlet of the electric field device, a dust-removal electric field cathode (10212), and a dust-removal electric field anode (10211), the dust-removal electric field cathode (10212) and the dust-removal electric field anode (10211) being used for generating an ionization dust-removal electric field. The exhaust cooling device is used for reducing an exhaust temperature before the inlet of the electric field device. An exhaust dust-removal system facilitates to reduce greenhouse gas emission, and also facilitates to reduce hazardous gas and pollutant emission, so that gas emission is more environment-friendly.
OLEFIN POLYMERIZATION CATALYST SYSTEM COMPRISING MESOPOROUS ORGANOSILICA SUPPORT
A catalyst system comprising a combination of: 1) one or more catalyst compounds comprising at least one oxygen linkage, such as a phenoxide transition metal compound; 2) a support comprising an organosilica material, which may be a mesoporous organosilica material; and 3) an optional activator. Useful catalysts include biphenyl phenol catalysts (BPP). The organosilica material may be a polymer of at least one monomer of Formula [Z.sup.1OZ.sup.2SiCH.sub.2].sub.3 (I), where Z.sup.1 represents a hydrogen atom, a C.sub.1-C.sub.4 alkyl group, or a bond to a silicon atom of another monomer and Z.sup.2 represents a hydroxyl group, a C.sub.1-C.sub.4 alkoxy group, a C.sub.1-C.sub.6 alkyl group, or an oxygen atom bonded to a silicon atom of another monomer. This invention further relates to processes to polymerize olefins comprising contacting one or more olefins with the above catalyst system.
PRESSURE SWING ADSORPTION FOR OXYGEN PRODUCTION
Systems and methods are provided for separating oxygen from air using a sorption/desorption cycle that includes a reduced or minimized difference between the maximum and minimum pressures involved in the sorption/desorption cycle. The reduced or minimized difference in pressures can be achieved in part by using valves that can allow for commercial scale flow rates while avoiding large pressure drops for flows passing through the valves. A rotary wheel adsorbent is an example of a system that can allow for a sorption/desorption cycle with reduced and/or minimized pressure drops across valves associated with the process. Stationary adsorbent beds can also be used in combination with commercially available valves that have reduced and/or minimized pressure drops.
Method and system for treating foundry process exhaust gas
The present invention relates to a method and a system for the treatment of exhaust gas from industrial processes comprising at least the following consecutive steps: a) passing an exhaust gas comprising volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and/or amines through a catalytic zone at elevated temperatures, said catalytic zone comprises a deNO.sub.x-catalyst and an oxidation catalyst thereby providing a first treated gas stream, and b) subjecting the first treated gas stream to ultraviolet radiation in order cause photooxidation.
SIEVE BED RETENTION SYSTEM
A retention system for use within a molecular sieve unit includes a perforated plate having a top face and bottom face. The perforated plate is configured to be positioned atop a packed sieve bed proximate an outlet end cap of the molecular sieve unit. A skirt is coupled to the bottom face of the perforated plate and a biasing member is configured to engage the outlet end cap and the top face of the perforated plate. The biasing member urges the perforated plate against the packed sieve bed. The biasing member may be one or more wave springs thereby reducing the risk of losing sufficient biasing force against the perforated plate. In the event that a sufficient biasing force is lost, the skirt may operate as a failsafe so as to minimize or prevent tilting of the perforated plate within the housing.
Flameless catalytic thermal oxidation device
An object of the present invention is to provide a new frameless catalytic thermal oxidation device capable of treating concentrations of harmful materials including NOx at a low temperature. Further, another object of the present invention is to provide a frameless catalytic thermal oxidation device capable of minimizing the occurrence of THC and minimizing a risk of accidents and environmental pollution which may occur in maintenance operations. According to the objects, the present invention provides a cartridge-type thermal oxidation device capable of being separated for maintenance, wherein a cartridge internal structure is configured so that the time while the material to be treated stays in a zone with the catalyst is increased, and a member capable of dropping and collecting powder generated by thermal oxidation reaction is configured.
Use of fermentation tail gas in integrated gasification and gas fermentation system
The disclosure provides for the separation and combustion of at least one hydrocarbon, oxygenate, sulfur compound, and or nitrogen compound, from industrial gas or gasification derived syngas to generate steam. A gasification process and a gas fermentation process may be integrated using tail gas from the fermentation process for the flame to combust tar and other compounds from the syngas generated by a gasification process. Integration may be achieved by removing tar and other compounds from industrial gas or gasification derived syngas using an adsorbent and regenerating the adsorbent using tail gas from the gas fermentation process. Tail gas enriched with the desorbed tar and other compounds may be used to generate steam in a steam boiler and the steam may be used for a variety of purposes including power generation to power, for example, a compressor of the gas fermentation process.
