CARBON SEQUESTRATION METHODS AND SYSTEMS
20210356680 · 2021-11-18 ·

Methods of sequestering carbon dioxide (CO.sub.2) are provided. Aspects of the methods include contacting a CO.sub.2 containing gaseous stream with an aqueous medium under conditions sufficient to produce a bicarbonate rich product. The resultant bicarbonate rich product (or a component thereof) is then combined with a cation source under conditions sufficient to produce a solid carbonate composition and product CO.sub.2 gas, followed by injection of the product CO.sub.2 gas into a subsurface geological location to sequester CO.sub.2. Also provided are systems configured for carrying out the methods.

SORPTIVE GAS SEPARATION PROCESSES EMPLOYING CHEMISORBENTS
20210354085 · 2021-11-18 ·

Sorptive gas separation processes employing chemisorbents or amine doped sorbents are provided for separating a first component from a multi-component fluid mixture, or specifically for separating carbon dioxide from a combustion gas stream. The sorptive gas separation process comprises a sorbing step where during a first period of the sorbing step a first portion of a first product stream is recovered comprising a second component such as a nitrogen component, and during a second period of the sorbing step a second portion of a first product stream is recovered comprising a third component such as a water component.

Metal adsorbent material and uses thereof

A polymeric polysulfide is disclosed. The polymeric polysulfide is formed by reacting a fatty acid composition comprising at least one unsaturated fatty acid or derivative thereof with sulfur, at a weight ratio between 9:1 and 1:9, under inverse vulcanisation conditions to produce a polymeric polysulfide wherein at least 50% of the fatty acids or derivatives thereof in the fatty acid composition are unsaturated.

Method of producing sulfur-depleted syngas

A system and method for processing unconditioned syngas first removes solids and semi-volatile organic compounds (SVOC), then removes volatile organic compounds (VOC), and then removes at least one sulfur containing compound from the syngas. Additional processing may be performed depending on such factors as the source of syngas being processed, the products, byproducts and intermediate products desired to be formed, captured or recycled and environmental considerations.

Carbon dioxide capture device and method
11779878 · 2023-10-10 · ·

Disclosed are methods and systems for capturing carbon dioxide from a gas stream. The methods and systems can also be used to reduce pollutants from a gas stream. The nozzle alignment of the system avoids droplet collision and merger with a corresponding loss of surface area. The high surface area of the droplets allows for increased efficiency of CO.sub.2 capture.

Method of air pollution filtration in vehicle

A method of air pollution filtration in a vehicle is disclosed. A plurality of purification devices are provided to detect and transmit an inside-device gas detection datum, respectively, for intelligently selecting and controlling the activation of filtering the air pollution in the inner space of the vehicle. An in-car gas exchange system and a connection device are provided. The connection device receives and compares the respective inside-device gas detection datum, and selectively transmits a control instruction to drive the in-car gas exchange system and the purification devices. The movement of the air pollution is accelerated by the gas convention of the in-car gas exchange system, so that the air pollution is directionally moved toward the corresponding one of the purification devices adjacent to the air pollution for filtration. The air pollution in the inner space of the vehicle is filtered rapidly, so as to provide clean, safe and breathable air.

Heterogeneous agglomeration adsorbent for heavy metal adsorption, method for preparing same, and applications thereof

The disclosure relates to the field of heavy metal adsorbents, and a heterogeneous agglomeration adsorbent for heavy metal adsorption, a method for preparing the same, and applications are provided. The heterogeneous agglomeration adsorbent includes the following components according to percentage by weight: 0.005% to 0.01% of polyacrylamide, 0.0005% to 0.001% of calcium chloride, 0.001% to 0.01% of coconut oil fatty acid diethanolamide, and a balance is water.
