11185816 · 2021-11-30 · ·

A process and a plant for the thermal abatement of foul air containing malodorous substances. A flow of foul air containing malodorous substances as combustive air is fed into the combustion chamber of a unit for production and recovery of energy, and a flow of exhaust gas is obtained. The flow of exhaust gas is fed into a scrubber for the abatement of polluting substances, whereby the scrubber uses water for the washing of the flow of exhaust gas, producing a flow of low-temperature purified gas and a heated washing liquid. The heated washing liquid is conveyed to at least one heating jacket of a storage tank for the biological treatment of sewage of the aforementioned purification plant.

EXHAUST GAS PURIFICATION SYSTEM

The present invention provides an exhaust gas purification system. In the exhaust gas purification system, a shower nozzle 20 disperses liquid toward exhaust gas 11 from an upper portion of the exhaust gas 11. The dispersed liquid is mixed with the exhaust gas 11 and thereafter, the liquid accumulates in a tank 30, and odor and oil content are dissolved by action of microorganism included in the liquid in the tank 30. The shower nozzle 20 is connected to an opening 24 horizontally provided in a nozzle pipe 23 connected to a liquid-supply pipe conduit 22. The exhaust gas purification system includes a nozzle 20N directed to a downward dispersing direction of the liquid. The nozzle 20N is placed in the nozzle pipe 23 such that a lower end 20L of the nozzle 20N is located higher than a bottom 25 of an inner wall of a pipe conduit of the nozzle pipe 23. According to this, exhaust gas including odor and oil content is purified.

A register cover device that is configured to magnetically engage the base frame device. The register cover device having a plurality of alternating open space portions, a plurality of air diverting fin segments, and a magnet holder implement. The magnet holder implement includes at least four magnet holders that are disposed on each end corner portion of the register cover device. At least four height adjustable magnets are disposed on each of the magnet holders, wherein each of the height adjustable magnets is configured to magnetically engage the register cover device with the base frame device.

Closed-Loop Biological Systems and Methods Utilizing an Onsite Non-Potable Water Treatment for Odor Control Irrigation
20220016573 · 2022-01-20 ·

A single-stage or multi-stage biological odor control treatment system for the removal of target vapor compounds from a contaminated air stream consisting of a first stage (onsite non-potable water treatment) where raw collection system non-potable water is extracted from the sewer collection system, screened and sprayed over a media bed where it is treated to secondary effluent water quality and is collected in a tank. The onsite non-potable water treatment system effluent is then pumped to the biological odor control system. This onsite non-potable water treatment system effluent is used for irrigating either a single media bed, or multiple media beds, which require continuous moisture and a source of nutrients. The microorganisms use the odorous compounds in the foul air stream as a food source. Treated air is then discharged to the atmosphere. The odor control treatment system drain water is then returned into the source containment collection point.

Cabin filter cleaning systems and methods for a vehicle
11167233 · 2021-11-09 · ·

Systems and methods that utilize both UVA and UVC lamps to clean and disinfect a cabin filter of a vehicle, thereby preventing the cabin filter from becoming fouled for an extended period of time. By performing both gas filtration and cabin filter disinfection functions, these systems and methods mitigate: (1) the pressure drop (or flow reduction) experienced; (2) the smell breakthrough when the gas adsorbent becomes saturated; and (3) the presence of microbial growth. This is accomplished by the sequential application of UVC and UVA radiation to the cabin filter, with the UVC radiation being applied for a period of time upon vehicle startup to neutralize bacteria and fungus present in the cabin filter and the UVA radiation subsequently being applied continuously to filter the gas flowing through the cabin filter. A photocatalyst may be added to the cabin filter itself to enhance disinfection and gas filtration.
