FOCUSING AGENTS AND CALIBRATION TRANSPORTABILITY
A thermal desorption tube for chromatography and mass spectrometry analysis. The thermal desorption tube includes a sorbent and a plurality of focusing agents loaded at known, relative amounts onto the sorbent. Each focusing agent is a compound that chromatographically elutes within a retention time similar to a retention time of a target analyte and has a mass spectrum similar to a mass spectrum of the target analyte. The thermal desorption tube is configured to be further loaded with a sample having the target analyte.
Filter for Purifying an Air Stream
A filter is provided for removing contaminants from a gas flow (e.g., an air flow). Multiple panel filters are arranged in a filter housing. The panel filters are arranged parallel or near-parallel to a main gas flow direction and spaced apart to define elongated gas flow channels between adjacent panel filters, each elongated gas flow channel extending generally in the gas flow direction. The elongated gas flow channels include inlet channel(s) and outlet channel(a) arranged in an alternating manner, the inlet channel(s) configured receiving the gas flow at the inlet end and the outlet channel(s) outputting a filtered gas flow from the outlet end. Gas flow redirecting structures are arranged to redirect the gas flow in each inlet channel through adjacent panel filter(s) and into adjacent outlet channel(s). The filter may provide a pressure drop of less than 3 iwg, less than 1 iwg, or less than 0.3 iwg.
Adsorbent-assisted stabilization of highly reactive gases
A method of adsorbing a highly reactive gas onto an adsorbent material comprising adsorbing the highly reactive gas to the adsorbent material. The adsorbent material comprises at least one Lewis basic functional group, or pores of a size to hold a single molecule of the highly reactive gas, or inert moieties which are provided to the adsorbent material at the same time at the same time as the highly reactive gas, prior to adsorbing the highly reactive gas or after adsorbing the highly reactive gas, or the highly reactive gas reacts with moieties of the adsorbent material resulting in passivation of the adsorbent material. A rate of decomposition of the adsorbed highly reactive gas is lower than a rate of decomposition for the neat gas at equal volumetric loadings and equal temperatures for both the adsorbed highly reactive gas and the neat gas.
Methods for using bentonite to remove pesticides from cannabinoid extract oils
The disclosure provides methods and reagents for removing pesticides or pesticide residues from plant matter such as cannabis plant matter. The method uses adsorption on bentonite (bentonite scrubbing).
AIR TREATMENT SYSTEM, METHOD AND APPARATUS
An air treatment apparatus, system and method for removal of health threatening airborne pollutants from an airflow is provided. The air treatment apparatus includes a ducting section having an inactivation zone created by either a plasma-generating flexible electrode alone, a UV light source alone, or a combination of a plasma-generating flexible electrode and a UV light source disposed within the interior of the ducting section, wherein the airflow and airborne pollutants are urged into the inactivation zone ensuring multiple exposures of airborne pollutant material into the inactivation zone resulting in purified air exiting from the apparatus.
Standing chair
A standing chair comprises a main frame support assembly with a first frame support and a second frame support, at least two collapsible support arms with a first end and a second end, at least one bracket, at least one seat assembled to the collapsible support arms, a drive member positioned between right frame support and one collapsible support arm, another drive member positioned between left frame support and other collapsible support arm and a foot rest assembly with a pair of leg support bars. Right and left frame supports are parallelly connected and locked via a connecting means. The first ends of collapsible arms are moveably affixed to both right and left frame supports, whereas second ends are pivotally connected to a backrest support via fasteners. The two collapsible support arms are configured to automatically collapse and retract in accordance to sitting or standing mode of the standing chair.
Method and system for reduction of unwanted gases in indoor air
An air treatment system for at least partially removing at least one gaseous contaminant contained in indoor air of a room structured for human occupants. The system may comprise an air treatment assembly having an indoor air inlet configured to receive indoor airflow directly from a room, a regenerable adsorbent material configured to adsorb at least one gaseous contaminant contained in the indoor airflow, at least one airflow element for directing the indoor airflow to flow through the air treatment assembly, an indoor air outlet for expelling the indoor air, from the air treatment assembly back into the room, a purge air inlet configured to receive and direct purge air over and/or through the adsorbent material for removal of at least a portion of the at least one gaseous contaminant, and a purge air outlet for expelling the purge air out of the air treatment assembly.
NOVEL AIR PURIFICATION COMPOSITION WITH ANTIVIRAL AND BACTERICIDAL FUNCTIONS
Disclosed is a novel air purification composition with antiviral and bactericidal functions, the composition at least comprising the following components in percentage by weight: 0.3%-1% of a black poplar essential oil, 0.1%-1% of a tea tree essential oil, 0.1%-0.5% of a Cupressus funebris essential oil, 0.1%-1% of an Artemisia apiacea essential oil, 0.1%-10% of a Sophora flavescens extract, 0.1%-5% of a ginger extract, 5%-30% of a Cupressus funebris hydrolate, 0.5%-1% of a hyperbranched amino polymer, 0.5%-5% of a surfactant, and the balance being water.
PORTABLE APPARATUS AND METHOD OF PURIFYING AIR FOR BREATHING
An apparatus and method are provided for purifying air for breathing. The apparatus includes an armrest having a receiver and an air purification module releasably received in the receiver. The air purification module is portable and displaceable between a first operating position held in the receiver and a second operating position remote from the armrest and the vehicle.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR RECOVERING AND PURIFYING A GASEOUS STERILIZING AGENT
A system for recovering a sterilization agent may include a pressure reducing value for reducing a pressure of a waste gas from a sterilization chamber to a first predefined pressure. The waste gas may include a gaseous mixture of a sterilization agent, nitrogen gas, and water vapor. A first condenser may cool the gaseous mixture to below a boiling point temperature and above a freezing point temperature of the water vapor at the first predefined pressure. A first tank may store the condensed water vapor. A separation pump may raise the pressure of the gaseous mixture to a second predefined pressure. A second condenser may cool the gaseous mixture to below a boiling point temperature and above a freezing point temperature of the sterilization agent at the second predefined pressure causing the sterilization agent to condense into a liquid. A second tank may store the separated sterilization agent.
