Methods and systems for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, including producing a waste gas stream comprising form greater than 0 vol % to less than 20 vol %, inclusive, carbon dioxide, pre-concentrating the waste gas stream to increase a concentration of carbon dioxide, producing a concentrated byproduct stream comprising more than 40 vol %, dissolving carbon dioxide contained in the concentrated byproduct stream in water, producing a dissolved byproduct stream and an undissolved byproduct stream, injecting the dissolved byproduct stream or a portion thereof into a reservoir containing mafic rock, and allowing components of the dissolved byproduct stream to react in situ with components of the mafic rock to precipitate and store components of the byproduct stream in the reservoir.

Preparation and application of in-situ high efficient degradation carbon based materials of VOCs in landfill based on waste recycling

The invention discloses a preparation method and application of in-situ high-efficiency degradation carbon based material of VOCs in landfill based on waste regeneration, which comprises the following steps: air drying the agricultural and forestry wastes to a moisture content of 0.001 wt %˜20 wt %, and the agricultural and forestry wastes mainly include: straw, wheat straw, leaves, branches, weeds, crushing them to a particle size of 0-50 mm with a grinder, and then using urea or amide as modifier The nitrogen enriched biochar was prepared by mixing the crushed agricultural and forestry wastes with a mass ratio of 1:50-1:10; the nitrogen enriched biochar was prepared by retorting the nitrogen doped agricultural and forestry wastes at 300-600° C. for 20-60 min, and then cooling them rapidly; the nitrogen enriched biochar was mixed with the sewage sludge with a moisture content of 90-98 wt. % with a weight ratio of 20:1-10:1 to get the nitrogen enriched microorganism The degradation efficiency of TVOCs in landfill is 96.74%˜99.70%.

Commercially beneficial carbon-containing fractions can be recovered from hydrothermal liquefaction reactions in various types of processors. Feedstock slurry from waste solids is placed into a pressurized processor where it is maintained at temperature and pressure for a predetermined period. On discharge from the processor the processed discharge is separated into liquid and solid fractions. Gaseous fractions including carbon dioxide can also be removed or off-taken from the processor. New molecular structures are created in this reaction, resulting in fractions including biogas, biofuels, biosolids and biocrude. Silica, phosphates, potash and low concentration nitrogen based fertilizer, along with carbonaceous material can also be recovered.

Honeycomb-structured catalyst for organic substance decomposition and organic substance decomposing apparatus

A honeycomb-structured catalyst for decomposing an organic substance, which includes a catalyst particle. The catalyst particle contains a perovskite-type composite oxide represented by A.sub.xB.sub.yM.sub.zO.sub.w, where the A contains at least of Ba and Sr, the B contains Zr, the M is at least one of Mn, Co, Ni, and Fe, y+z=1, 1.001≤x≤1.05, 0.05≤z≤0.2, and w is a positive value that satisfies electrical neutrality. The toluene decomposition rate is greater than 90% when toluene is decomposed using the honeycomb-structured catalyst subjected to a heat treatment at 1200° C. for 48 hours and a gas that contains 50 ppm toluene, 80% nitrogen, and 20% oxygen as a volume concentration as a target at a space velocity of 30,000/h and a catalyst temperature of 400° C.

MATERIAL FOR N2O DECOMPOSITION

The present invention concerns a material with a non-stoichiometric spinel-type crystalline structure based on cobalt oxide doped with alkaline elements, its production process for obtaining it by precipitation with controlled washing, and its particular use as a highly active catalyst in the N.sub.2O decomposition reaction. Therefore, we understand that the present invention is in the area of green industry aimed at reducing N.sub.2O emissions into the atmosphere.

ORGANIC IODINE REMOVER AND ORGANIC IODINE REMOVING APPARATUS

An organic iodine remover is a remover for removing organic iodine and is a substance composed of a cation and an anion, and the cation (for example, a phosphonium cation, an ammonium cation, or a sulfonium cation) has a molecular structure in which an electron donating group (for example, a phosphino group, an amino group, a sulfanyl group, a hydroxy group, or an alkoxy group) is bonded to a phosphorus atom, a nitrogen atom or a sulfur atom. An organic iodine removing apparatus includes: a vessel into which the organic iodine remover for removing the organic iodine is charged; and introduction pipes through which a fluid containing organic iodine is introduced into the organic iodine remover.
