Method and apparatus for cleaning contaminated gas in a reactor with rubber material
A method and apparatus for cleaning a contaminated gas, the method comprising passing the contaminated gas through at least two cleaning stages of rubber material through which water flows, wherein the gas and the water pass cocurrently though the at least two stages of rubber material.
MEMBRANE PERMEATION TREATMENT WITH ADJUSTMENT OF THE TEMPERATURE OF THE FIRST RETENTATE AS A FUNCTION OF THE CH4 CONCENTRATION IN THE THIRD AND/OR FOURTH PERMEATE
A facility and method for membrane permeation treatment of a feed gas flow containing at least methane and carbon dioxide that includes a compressor, a pressure measurement device, at least one valve, and first, second, third, and fourth membrane separation units for separation of CO.sub.2 from CH.sub.4 to permeates enriched in CO.sub.2 and retentates enriched in CH.sub.4, respectively. A temperature of the first retentate is adjusted at an inlet of the second membrane separation unit with at least one heat exchanger as a function of the measured CH.sub.4 concentration in such a way so as to reduce the determined difference.
MEMBRANE PERMEATION TREATMENT WITH ADJUSTMENT OF THE NUMBER OF MEMBRANES USED AS A FUNCTION OF THE PRESSURE OF THE FEED GAS FLOW
The at least one valve adjusts the number of membranes combined and connected to the flow of gas entering into at least one of the membrane separation units as a function of the pressure recorded by the pressure measurement device.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR UPGRADING BIOGAS
A method for providing renewable natural gas (RNG) includes removing hydrogen sulfide and/or carbon dioxide from biogas to provide partially purified biogas, which may be stored in a mobile storage tank. The partially purified biogas is transported to a biogas upgrading facility, at least partially by truck, rail, or ship. At the biogas upgrading facility, the partially purified biogas is further purified to provide the RNG, which can be injected into a distribution system (e.g., natural gas grid) and/or provided for use in transportation.
Highly stable [MaMbF6-n(O/H2O)n(Ligand)2(solvent)x]n metal organic frameworks
Embodiments of the present disclosure describe metal-organic framework compositions comprising a pillar characterized by the formula (M.sub.bF.sub.5(O/H.sub.2O)), where M.sub.b is selected from periodic groups IIIA, IIIB, IVB, VB, VIB, and VIII; and a square grid characterized by the formula (M.sub.a(ligand).sub.x), where M.sub.a is selected from periodic groups IB, IIA, IIB, IIIA, IVA, IVB, VIB, VIIB, and VIII, ligand is a polyfunctional organic ligand, and x is 1 or more; wherein the pillaring of the square grid with the pillars forms the metal-organic framework.
HYBRID POLYMER MEMBRANE
The present invention relates to CO.sub.2 capture from gas mixtures by use of gas separation membranes. In particular, the invention relates to a gas separation membrane comprising: a gas permeable or porous support layer; and at least one CO.sub.2 selective polymer layer comprising carbonic anhydrase (CA) enzymes fixed within the at least one CO.sub.2 selective polymer layer. The present invention also relates to the method of separating CO.sub.2 from a gas and to the use of the gas separation membrane.
MICRO-BUBBLE PUMP APPARATUS FOR WATER TREATMENT
The present invention relates to a micro-bubble pump apparatus for a water treatment, and the micro-bubble pump apparatus for a water treatment comprises: a motor for generating rotatory power; and a micro-bubble pump connected to the motor and for mixing a feed liquid which flows into one side thereof and a feed gas which is injected into the other side thereof.
MULTI-STAGE PSA PROCESS TO REMOVE CONTAMINANT GASES FROM RAW METHANE STREAMS
A multi-stage process to remove contaminant gases from raw methane streams is provided. The present technology is an innovative solution to recover and purify biogas by use of a process having at least two pressure swing adsorption stages. Taking advantage of the presence of carbon dioxide in the raw biogas streams, nitrogen and oxygen are bulky removed in the first stage, using selective adsorbents, and a nitrogen and oxygen-depleted intermediate stream is yielded to the second stage. The second stage employs an adsorbent or adsorbents to selectively remove carbon dioxide and trace amounts of remaining nitrogen and oxygen, thus producing a purer methane stream that meets pipeline and natural gas specifications
Installation and method for the treatment by membrane permeation of a gas stream with the aspiration pressure of the second permeate adjusted
Installation for membrane permeation treatment of feed gas containing methane and carbon dioxide that includes first, second, and third membrane separation units. The permeate from the first membrane separation unit is fed to the third membrane separation unit and the retentate from the first membrane separation unit is fed to the second membrane separation unit. The aspiration pressure of the second permeate is adjusted with a compressor according to the aspiration pressure of the second permeate before recycling thereof to the feed gas flow fed to the first membrane separation unit.
PLANT AND PROCESS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF DESULFURIZED BIOGAS
Device for the production of at least partially desulfurized biogas comprising: a digester, a means for continuous introduction of biochar into the digester and a membrane separation unit placed on the stream of biogas exiting from the digester and comprising at least one membrane allowing the sulfur-comprising products to permeate.
