SWITCHABLE TWO-STAGE COALESCENCE SEPARATION SYSTEM
A switchable two-stage coalescence separation system, including a coalescer housing (1), a plurality of two-stage filter elements (2), and a particle detector (5). A lower portion and an upper portion of each of the two-stage filter elements (2) are located in a lower chamber (101) and an upper chamber (102) of the coalescer housing (1), respectively. Two gas inlet branch pipes are communicated with the lower chamber (101) and the upper chamber (102), respectively and are connected to a gas inlet main pipe (8) through a first multi-way valve (6). The particle detector (5) is disposed on the gas inlet main pipe (8). Two outlet branch pipes are communicated with the lower chamber (101) and the upper chamber (102), respectively and are connected to a gas outlet main pipe 13 through a second multi-way valve (7).
DEVICE FOR COLLECTING PARTICULATE MATTER
An improved device for collecting particulate matter suspended in the ambient air is disclosed comprising a container extending between an open first end and a closed second end defining a container interior. A container output communicates with a container interior located proximate the closed second end of the container. A filter cassette comprising a collection filter is permanently affixed to a filter holder. A retainer having a retainer input retains the filter cassette between the retainer input and the container output. An output connector connects the container output to a low pressure source for drawing ambient air into the retainer input for enabling the collection filter to collect particulate matter suspended in the ambient air entering the retainer input. Preferably, the filter holder and the filter are disposable.
FILTER ELEMENT WITH CLOSED ENDCAP FORMING A SEAL POSITIONED AT DIFFERENT AXIAL DISTANCES
An air cleaner assembly comprises a housing and a filter element. The housing comprises a first housing end and a second housing end. The second housing end of the housing defines an opening of the housing for fluid flow. The filter element is configured to be received through the first housing end of the housing. The filter element comprises a filter media and a closed endplate. The filter media comprises a first media end and a second media end. The second media end of the filter media defines an opening of the filter element for fluid flow. The closed endplate is positioned along the first media end of the filter media and comprises a wall with an axially inner surface and an axially outer surface. The axially outer surface is exposed to an area outside of the housing and closes off the first housing end of the housing when the filter element is positioned within the housing.
FILTER ELEMENT
The present invention relates to a ceramic filter arrangement comprising a ceramic filter and a support housed within the ceramic filter, wherein the support is in contact with inside walls of the ceramic filter.
Panel filter and method for manufacturing the same
A panel filter includes a first media layer constructed from a first material that is permeable to air and impermeable to particulates of a targeted size or type, a support grid, and a second media layer constructed from a second material that is permeable to air. The second media layer is adhesively coupled to the first media layer without a mechanical seal. When the first media layer and second media layer are coupled, the support grid is retained between the first media layer and the second media layer.
Filter element and housing with cooperating filter media support structures
A filter element having a filter media support structure as well as a filter assembly having interacting filter media support structure components are disclosed. The support structure includes a support grid arranged on a clean side of the filter media. At least one support member is secured onto the support grid and extends outwardly away from the support grid and the filter media. The at least one support member is configured and adapted to supportively engage a respective mating support member to transfer forces from the filter element to the housing.
Backing net structure
A backing net for a filter media is disclosed. The backing net includes a plurality of longitudinal beams and at least one cross beam. The height of at least one of the longitudinal beams varies along the length of the longitudinal beam such that said height is reduced towards the first end thereof. A filter media and a V-type filter including such backing net are also disclosed.
Filter frame
A V-type filter frame is disclosed for receiving a filter media pack. The V-type filter frame is arranged to be mounted to a filter bank grid and includes first and second gable plates and a front plate coupled thereto. The gable plates each include an abutment surface extending outwardly from an outer surface arranged to abut a filter bank grid when mounted thereto. A filter frame assembly and a method for assembling a filter bank are also disclosed.

A modular filter element that has a first elongate hollow body and a second elongate hollow, where a female portion extends axially into a wall of one of the elongate hollow bodies and a male portion extends axially from the other elongate hollow body into the female portion to connect the first elongate hollow body to the second elongate hollow body is disclosed.

The present invention relates to an air filter housing (200) for an air filter arrangement in a vehicle, the air filter housing being configured for receiving unfiltered air and outputting filtered air by passage of the air through an air filter unit (100). The air filter housing (200) forms a filter cavity (201) configured to house said air filter unit (100), and the air filter housing (200) comprises support member (300) being fixedly arranged in said filter cavity (201). The support member (300) comprises a filter holder portion (301) for holding said air filter unit (100) in a use position, in which use position the complete filter holder portion (301) is located inside said filter cavity (201). The filter holder portion (301) is movable between a retracted position being said use position, and an extended position, in which extended position at least a part of said filter holder portion (301) is located outside of said cavity (201). The invention also relates to an air filter arrangement, a method, and a vehicle.
