An adjustable refrigeration rack system may include a pair of parallel shafts arranged on a rear interior cabinet side of a refrigerator, a plurality of pairs of attachment mechanisms, each attachment mechanisms having one attachment mechanism arranged on one rail, and another arranged at equal height on the other rail, the attachment mechanisms configured to hold a shelf and selectively engage the respective shafts, and a drive mechanism configured to drive the shafts vertically, wherein movement of the shafts causes movement of the shelf arranged on the attachment mechanisms selectively engaged with the shafts, but not movement of a shelf arranged on the attachment mechanisms unattached to the shafts.

A cantilever shelving system is disclosed and can include a frame structure, a cantilever shelf support structure, and a plurality of load-bearing shelves that can be supported by the cantilever shelf support structure and the frame structure. The shelves can be positioned laterally adjacent to cantilever support arms of the cantilever shelf support structure, and the shelf support surfaces can be coplanar with upper walls of the cantilever support arms. Ends of laterally adjacent shelves do not overlap with a front side of a vertical support member to which the cantilever support arm is mounted. Systems comprising one or more of the apparatuses and methods for loading/unloading articles utilizing the apparatuses are also disclosed.

An electric shelf which has at least one column to be installed on a wall, a slidable component arranged on the column to slide along the column vertically, at least one layer of shelf board component connected to the slidable component to move simultaneously with the slidable component, and a linear driving device connected to the slidable component and the column to actuate the slidable component to move relative to the column. Advantages of the present disclosure compared to prior arts include a simpler structure and less space occupied by the shelf board component.

An electric shelf which has at least one column to be installed on a wall, a slidable component arranged on the column to slide along the column vertically, at least one layer of shelf board component connected to the slidable component to move simultaneously with the slidable component, and a linear driving device connected to the slidable component and the column to actuate the slidable component to move relative to the column. A safety cabinet can include an enclosure defining an interior compartment accessible through an opening. The safety cabinet includes an interior lighting system. The interior lighting system can include at least one of an illuminating light to enable viewing to cabinet contents and an ultraviolet light configured to disinfect the interior compartment of the safety cabinet. To provide electrical power to the interior lighting system, the safety cabinet includes an electrical connection disposed through the enclosure. The electrical connection can include at least one of a bulkhead connector and an intumescent socket.

Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to a shelf and shelving system for a refrigerator door having a door liner with opposing side walls, where each side wall includes a row of ditch steps. The shelf or shelves includes a gap wall at each end of the shelf. A switch is positioned above each gap wall. Each switch includes a handle, a mounting rod and a biasing member for biasing a long component of the handle outwardly away from the gap wall such that an engagement surface of the long component will engage a ditch step and thereby secure the shelf in place within the refrigerator door. The switch is actuatable by a user to allow for vertical adjustment of the shelf along the rows of ditch steps or to remove the shelf therefrom.
