An air cleaner according to an embodiment includes a blowing device including a suction port and a discharge port, a fan motor configured to generate an air flow, a purifying unit installed inside the blowing device to purify air, a driving portion configured to move the air cleaner, a communication unit configured to communicate with a moving agent moving in the indoor space, and a processor configured to receive status information including at least one of air quality information and dust occurrence information collected by the moving agent, determine a specific zone in which air purification is to be performed using the status information collected by the moving agent, and perform air purification in the specific zone.

An air purifying system may include at least two air purifiers configured to operate independently and a docking station to support the at least two air purifiers. An antimicrobial air treatment device and a method of its construction. The antimicrobial air treatment device comprises an antimicrobial metal nanoparticle mesh comprising a steel support mesh and a layer of copper nanoparticles disposed on the steel support mesh. The antimicrobial air treatment device may be in the form of a facemask or a component of a moving air filtration system such as an HVAC system, an automobile cabin air filtration system, and an air purifier. The antimicrobial air treatment device may contain one or more filtration layers of filtration medium. The method of constructing the antimicrobial air treatment device involves the preparation of the antimicrobial metal nanoparticle mesh by an electrodeposition technique.
Combination Humidifier / Dehumidifier with Common Water Containment and Outdoor Air Intake
A humidifier/dehumidifier device is disclosed herein. The humidifier and dehumidifier both, respectively, evaporate water from and condense water into a shared (same) water storage container. The device is fitted with an air intake and at least one air outtake. In embodiments of the technology, one or more of the air intakes receives air from outdoors. One or both of an indoor and/or the outdoor intake is used to receive air based on a determination that an indoor and outdoor humidity and temperature is most efficient to achieve a desired indoor humidity or temperature.

A detoxification device for removing pathogens from air within an environment. The detoxification device may include a filtration media for catching and retaining particles larger than about 0.3 micrometers (μm) with an efficiency of at least 99%. The detoxification device may also include a heating element having a metallic foam. The heating element may be heated upon application of an electrical current to the heating element. The heating element may, upon being heated, heat the filtration media to a target temperature that is effective to kill a pathogen.
WALL-MOUNTED AIR PURIFIER
The present application provides a wall-mounted air purifier, including casing, a filter installed in the casing, and a fan installed in the casing. The casing is defined by an air inlet and an air outlet, and the air outlet is located at the position corresponding to the outlet of the fan. The filter is arranged between the air inlet and the fan, a photocatalytic module is installed in the casing, and the photocatalytic module is arranged between the air inlet and the fan. The wall-mounted air purifier provided in the present application filters and purifies the air by arranging a filter in the casing; and arranging a photocatalytic module in the casing to sterilize and disinfect the gas entering the air inlet and decompose harmful molecules in the gas for better purifying the air and improving the air purification capacity.
