A respirator mask for long-term use is disclosed. In an example, a respirator mask includes a transparent lens integrated with a frame. The respirator mask also includes a first inhalation filter assembly connected to a left external side of the frame, a second inhalation filter assembly connected to an right external side of the frame, and an exhalation filter assembly connected to a bottom external side of the frame. Each of the filter assemblies have the same dimensions and include filter media, a base section configured o receive the filter media, a filter cap removably connected to the base section to retain the filter media against the base section, and a check valve located between the filter media and the base section or integrated with the base section. The disclosed respirator mask is configured to improve airflow and comfort for a wearer while minimizing postential causes of contamination.
USE OF PHOTOTHERMAL AGENTS IN AIR FILTERS
A photothermal composition configured to be used in air filter for destroying bioaerosol particles by converting light energy emitted from a light source into heat energy including a photothermal agent is provided. The present invention also concerns an air filter for collecting the bioaerosol particles in an air flow and destroying said bioaerosol particles deposited thereon, including a photothermal agent which converts light energy emitted from a light source into heat energy.
LASER-INDUCED GRAPHENE FILTERS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING SAME
Virus and microbe-killing, self-sterilizing resistive heated air filters and methods of making and using same methods. The air filter is includes laser-induced graphene (LIG), a porous conductive graphene foam formed through photothermal conversion of a polyimide film (or another source or source of polymer or other LIG precursor material) by a laser source. The LIG in the air filter can capture particulates and bacteria. The bacteria cannot proliferate even when submerged in culture medium. Through a periodic Joule-heating mechanism, the filter easily reaches greater than 300° C. This destroys any microorganisms including bacteria, along with molecules that can cause adverse biological reactions and diseases such as viruses, pyrogens, allergens, exotoxins, endotoxins, teichoic acids, mycotoxins, nucleic acids, and prions
Air purification device
A purification device for disinfecting and filtering intake air is disclosed. The purification device comprises a housing provided with a number of inlet perforations for allowing the intake air to enter the housing and a number of air outlet perforations for allowing air purified by the purification device to leave the housing. The purification device moreover comprises a fan arranged inside the housing to suck the intake air into the housing and blow the purified air out of the housing. The purification device further comprises an ultraviolet radiation lamp arranged inside the housing to irradiate the intake air. The purification device also comprises a high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter arranged to filter the intake air before the intake air leaves the housing as purified air. The filter comprises a plurality of pleats arranged in such a manner that the angle between adjacent pleats is 30 degrees or less.
V-BANK FILTER
The present disclosure is directed methods and apparatus of a V-Bank filtration system capable of maintaining desired air flow rates while effectively filtering the air. These methods and apparatus charge particles and then capture those particles in a filter medium. Once captured in the filter medium, micro-organisms are exposed to high energy electric fields that may degrade and ultimately destroy the captured micro-organisms. Electric fields generated within portions of the V-Bank filter apparatus may also be contained within the portions of the filter apparatus based on exterior parts of these portions being grounded at Earth ground potential. Magnetic fields (or electro-magnetic fields) associated with the generated electric fields may also be contained within the portions of the apparatus based on the exterior parts of these portions being grounded.
UV ENABLED FINS ENCAPSULATION SYSTEM
A general-purpose air sterilizing system destroys activation of air-borne pathogens, designed with different embodiments. The methods used to build the apparatus allows destroying airborne pathogens like bacteria, mold, mildew, allergens and deactivates viruses such as SARS CoV-2. The apparatus supports air circulation system that contains filter which comprising array of Ultraviolet (UV) Light Emitting Diode (LEDs) of 262-nm wavelength, AKA UVC, are used.
PORTABLE AIR FILTRATION AND AIR DISPERSION SYSTEM AND METHOD
An air filtration device including a housing that includes an air intake and a blower motor mounted within the housing, wherein when the blower motor is in operation, the blower motor generates an air flow from the air intake through an air duct extending vertically from the housing. The air filtration device also includes an air outlet at a distal end of the air duct, wherein the air outlet comprises at least one aperture, wherein when the blower motor is in operation, the air outlet discharges the air flow in a horizontal plane over an occupied zone from a region of the air duct having a vertical height that is less than or equal to twelve inches, wherein the region of the air duct for the air outlet is disposed at least thirty-six inches above the air intake. The air filtration device also includes an air filter.
PORTABLE AIR PURIFIER
A portable air purifier may include a housing provided with an inlet through which air is suctioned, a filter, and a fan module and forming an air flow path in a vertical direction, a discharge disposed at an outlet of the housing and configured to guide a discharge direction of air, a rotational supporter which is connected to the housing, movement of which is restricted, and which supports the discharge in a rotatable manner, and a rotational guide disposed respectively at the discharge and the rotational supporter and configured to guide rotation of the discharge to allow the discharge to rotate within predetermined angles.
PHOTOCATALYTIC FILTER MODULE AND AIR PURIFIER INCLUDING THE SAME
The present invention provides a photocatalytic filter module and an air purifier including a base frame in which at least one side is open, a plurality of support frames arranged to traverse the base frame, a plurality of light emitting units arranged on the support frame, and filter units installed in the base frame and disposed to be spaced apart from the light emitting units.
