Metal oxide ceramic nanomaterials and methods of making and using same
Provided are metal oxide ceramic materials and intermediate materials thereof (e.g., nanozirconia gels, nanozirconia green bodies, pre-sintered ceramic bodies, zirconia dental ceramic materials, and dental articles). The nanozirconia gels are formable gels. Also provided are methods of making and using the metal oxide materials and intermediate materials. The nanozirconia gels can be made using, for example, osmotic processing. The nanozirconia gels can be used to make nanozirconia green bodies, pre-sintered ceramic bodies, zirconia dental ceramic materials, and dental article. The nanozirconia green bodies, pre-sintered ceramic bodies, zirconia dental ceramic materials, and dental articles have desirable properties (e.g., optical properties and mechanical properties).
BUTANOL PRODUCTION METHOD
Provided is a novel butanol production method. The butanol production method includes a fermentation step of subjecting a fermentation raw material to a fermentation treatment to prepare a fermented liquid containing butanol, and a separation step of subjecting the fermented liquid to PV membrane separation to prepare a separated liquid containing butanol. In the fermentation step, a microorganism of the species Clostridium saccharoperbutylacetonicum deficient in the function of at least an acetone-producing enzyme gene is used and/or a fermented liquid having an acetone concentration of 0.05 mass % or less is prepared.
Method for preparing LUO HAN GUO sweetening composition from <i>Siraitia grosvenorii </i>and use thereof
A method for preparing a Luo Han Guo sweetening composition from Siraitia grosvenorii and a use thereof. The method for extracting the sweetening composition from Siraitia grosvenorii preferably includes the followings: accelerating ripening of immature Siraitia grosvenorii, and performing juicing, extraction with pure water, removal of impurities, concentration and purification to obtain the sweetening composition. Further, the present application relates to a compound sweetener containing the sweetening composition, which can be widely used in foodstuffs, beverages, healthcare products, and daily chemicals. The contents of mogroside III, mogroside IIe, and the like in the Luo Han Guo sweetening composition are controlled so as to improve the flavor thereof, and a production process for the sweetening composition uses only pure water, without use of organic solvents such as ethanol, to ensure a greener and healthier production process.

Methods and systems for treating phosphogypsum-containing water
Methods for processing pretreated phosphogypsum wastewater are disclosed. Precipitation of select constituents may be promoted to control a hardness level of the pretreated wastewater. Ammonia may then be removed from the process stream via reverse osmosis. A membrane contactor and/or polishing unit(s) may optionally be used. Related systems are also disclosed.
