Fastened into wood with lag bolts at either the center point of the closet, or at the door jambs, and firmly supported by wall bracket, or in use in conjunction with adjustable center post, and modified bracket. With more than a single hinge point the clothing, or support rod will move in, and out of the space that it occupies allowing access to otherwise wasted space that a normal clothing, or support rod would occupy. The utility rod Is able to then allow the user to access both the space by moving the rod, and supported items out of the way, and allowing the user to access the full array of items supported by the rod with ease.

A wall-mounted item retention system include at least two bracket members, each having a plurality of hooks or retainers for retaining an end of an elastic band. A plurality of elastic bands are provided, with each elastic band being stretch from a hook or retainer on one bracket member to a hook or retainer on another bracket member, forming a region covered by stretched elastic bands in proximity to, and parallel with, the wall or surface on which the bracket members are mounted. Items can be retained by pulling the elastic bands away from the wall and placing the items between the elastic bands and the wall, wherein the force of the elastic band against the items will retain the items against the wall or surface.

Cabinet drawer with a rack configured to carry out a translatory movement into a pull-out position and a pivoting movement in the pull-out position

The invention relates to a cabinet drawer (1), in particular for tall cabinets, comprising a frame (4) which is to be arranged in the interior of the cabinet body (2) and has a cabinet door (3) or a similar cabinet covering on the front face on a vertical longitudinal support (6). The frame (4), which has a respective support base (7), can be moved out of a first operating position, which lies within the cabinet body (2), into a pull-out position, which lies in front of the cabinet body (2), as a second operating position in a translational manner, and the frame (4), which has an upper (8) and a lower (9) pull-out rail, can be converted into the second operating position using a rear vertical longitudinal support (5) such that the frame (4) can be pivoted about a vertical pivot axis in the second operating position. The cabinet drawer (1) is paired with a blocking device (13) which prevents the frame (4) from carrying out a pivoting movement before reaching the second operating position and releases the frame (4) to carry out a pivoting movement in the second operating position. The aim of the invention is to improve such a cabinet drawer (1). This is achieved in that the blocking device (13) has a slotted gate part (14) which can be pivoted about a vertical axis and comprises a guide path (15), the slotted gate part (14) together with the frame (4) can be moved into the second operating position, a guide part (16) of the frame (4) is guided in the guide path (15) of the slotted gate part (14) during a part of the pivoting movement of the frame, and the slotted gate part (14) is arranged within the blocking device (13) in the course of the translational movement of the frame (4) into the second operating position so as to be prevented from carrying out a pivoting movement.

Towel bar with integrated robe hook

A towel bar includes a retractable and extendable robe hook. The robe hook may be formed in a wall-mounted first base joined by a towel bar to a wall-mounted second base. A shaft may be extended from the base to reveal the robe hook. When extended, the robe hook provides a location from which objects may be hung. When not needed, the robe hook may be pushed into the base and reside within an internal cavity, thereby concealed from view.
