MODULAR FILTRATION PLATFORM
A modular filtration platform having at least one manifold head and at least one respective filter cartridge assembly. Each manifold head is connected to one another to establish a water flow in a series or parallel manner. Each filter cartridge assembly is releasably secured from rotation relative to the manifold head by a locking mechanism. An aperture on the filter cartridge assembly annular collar mates with a protruding resilient extension on either the manifold head or support bracket. Alternatively, an aperture on the filter cartridge assembly annular collar and an aperture on the manifold head annular collar mate with a protruding member from a locking ring extending through both apertures. An integrated sensor package may be integrated with the system for true managed water visible/audible indications and Wi-Fi interface to facilitate virtually instantaneous response times for filtration needs.
REVERSE OSMOSIS FILTRATION SYSTEM WITHOUT PRESSURE TANKS
The present invention provides a reverse osmosis filtration system without pressure tanks consisting of a filter element connecting member and external filter elements and having a raw water inlet, a pure water outlet and a wastewater outlet. In the reverse osmosis filtration system of the present invention, filter elements can be quickly and easily installed for avoiding leakage occurs during the installation or replacement of the filter elements, so that users can conveniently install or replace the filter elements by themselves and purposes of convenient operation and leakage prevention can be achieved. Meanwhile, water storage pressure tanks and pumps are omitted in the reverse osmosis filtration system of the present invention for reducing manufacturing costs and effectively avoiding secondary pollution.
WATER CONDITIONING SYSTEMS HAVING DIVERSION DEVICES
A portable water conditioning system is provided that includes an incoming water inlet; a reverse osmosis stage in fluid communication with the incoming water inlet, the reverse osmosis stage having a permeate outlet and a concentrate outlet; a diversion device having a diversion valve, the diversion valve placing the concentrate outlet in fluid communication with a waste water outlet; a deionizing stage in fluid communication with a pure water outlet; a bypass valve configured to selectively place the permeate outlet in fluid communication with one or more of the waste water outlet, the deionizing stage, and the pure water outlet; and a controller configured to control the diversion device and the bypass valve to provide water at the pure water outlet of a desired condition.
Filtration element with end cap and face seal
A filtration element including a cylindrical housing enclosing a fluid filtration media extending along an axis (X) between opposing ends with a first and second end cap located at each end, wherein each end cap includes: i) an annular surface co-extensive with the housing, and ii) outer face laying in a plane perpendicular with the axis (X). The outer face of at least one end cap comprises an annular groove. A face seal including a base is located within the annular groove. A flexible lip extends axially from the base and axially beyond the outer face of the end cap and is adapted to engage with an abutting outer face of an end cap of an adjacently positioned filtration element.
HOLLOW-FIBER MEMBRANE MODULE
A hollow-fiber membrane module according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a rectangular tubular outer casing with at least one sidewall being open, the outer casing having a plurality of open ports, and an inner casing configured such that a plurality of hollow-fiber membranes aligned in a longitudinal direction of the outer casing are placeable in the inner casing and configured to be insertable into the one sidewall.
Spiral wound module assembly including integrated pressure monitoring
A spiral wound module assembly including: a plurality of spiral wound modules aligned within a pressure vessel with a first module located adjacent the first end and a second module located adjacent the second end, a flow plate including opposing first and second sides positioned within the pressure vessel between the first spiral wound module and the first end of the pressure vessel with the first side facing the first spiral wound module and the second side facing the first end, and wherein the flow plate includes a plurality of holes passing from the first side to the second side which create a pressure drop in fluid passing from the first spiral wound module and the closer of the feed inlet port and concentrate outlet port; and a differential pressure sensor adapted to measure differences in pressure between fluid located on the opposing sides of the flow plate.
REVERSE OSMOSIS APPARATUS AND SEAWATER DESALINATION SYSTEM HAVING THE SAME
A reverse osmosis apparatus for a seawater desalination system is provided. The reverse osmosis apparatus includes a barrel in which a plurality of vessels receiving reverse osmosis membrane units are arranged, a feed tank provided in an intermediate portion of the barrel and connected to a seawater inlet, a first water tank provided inside a first end portion of the barrel and connected to a plurality of first vessels connected to a first side of the feed tank, and a second water tank provided inside a second end portion of the barrel and connected to a plurality of second vessels connected to a second side of the feed tank.
Water conditioning systems
A portable water conditioning system is provided that includes a water conditioner, a first sensor, a second sensor, and a controller. The water conditioner has a plurality of conditioning stages that condition water. The plurality of conditioning stages include, in a direction of flow of the water through the water conditioner, a reverse osmosis stage and a deionizing stage. The first sensor detects a first condition of the water before the reverse osmosis stage. The second sensor detects a second condition of the water after the reverse osmosis stage. The controller is in communication with the first and second sensors and determines a health status of the reverse osmosis stage based the first and second conditions. The first and second conditions each include a level of total dissolved solids of the water.
VENTING OR DEGASSING OF FILTER DEVICES AND FILTRATION SYSTEMS
Devices, systems, and methods for continually degassing/venting a feedstream within a filtration system. The filtration system may include a filter device utilizing hollow fiber filters to filter the feedstream. Additional venting hollow fiber filters vent gas from the filtration system to outside the filtration system. The venting hollow fiber filters may have ends which expose the interior lumens thereof to outside the filter unit to vent gases which pass through the walls of the hollow fiber filters. Degassed permeate thus flows through the filtering hollow fiber filters.
