Suspension system for a utility vehicle
A utility vehicle includes a frame, a first ground-engaging element coupled to a first portion of the frame, a second ground-engaging element coupled to a second portion of the frame, an operator platform supported by the frame, and a suspension system coupled between the operator platform and the frame to accommodate motion of the frame relative to the operator platform. The suspension system includes a first linkage assembly coupled to the operator platform and operable to accommodate motion of the second portion of the frame relative to the operator platform and a second linkage assembly having a first end coupled to the frame to secure the suspension system to the frame and a second end coupled to the first linkage assembly. The second linkage assembly being operable independent of the first linkage assembly to accommodate motion of the first portion of the frame relative to the operator platform.

A lawn mower includes a pair of left and right main frames 17, an engine E mounted to the pair of left and right main frames 17, a radiator for cooling water that cools the engine E, a cooling fan 11 for feeding cooling air to the radiator, and a hood 9 accommodating the engine E, the radiator and the cooling fan 11. An air deflector plate 34 is provided between the pair of left and right main frames 17 and configured to change direction of cooling exhaust air flowing toward a ground surface.

[Summary] A mower unit includes an idler pulley unit and a single belt routed around an output pulley of a drive source, the idler pulley unit and a plurality of blade pulleys. The idler pulley unit includes a first idler pulley, a second idler pulley and a tension idler pulley. A pulley height of the idler pulley unit is set higher than a pulley height of the blade pulleys, and a forward belt portion from the output pulley and a reverse belt portion to the output pulley extend to pass over and above the blade belt portion.

A lawn mower includes a pair of left and right main frames 17, an engine E mounted to the pair of left and right main frames 17, a radiator for cooling water that cools the engine E, a cooling fan 11 for feeding cooling air to the radiator, and a hood 9 accommodating the engine E, the radiator and the cooling fan 11. A riding lawn care vehicle (10) may include a frame (60, 130) to which wheels (31, 32) of the riding lawn care vehicle (10) may be attachable, a seat (20, 110, 310) which an operator of the riding lawn care vehicle (10) may utilize when operating the riding lawn care vehicle (10), a seat mounting structure (120, 320) to which the seat (20, 110, 310) may be mounted, an isolation assembly (140, 340) which may provide vibration isolation between the frame (60, 130) and the seat mounting structure (120, 320), and a hinge assembly (150, 350) which may enable the seat (20, 110, 310) to pivot via the seat mounting structure (120, 320). The isolation assembly (140, 340) may include a motion ratio adjustment assembly (160, 360) which may define a motion ratio of the isolation assembly (140, 340) independent of an amount of pre-loaded compression. The isolation assembly (140, 340) may be operably coupled to the seat mounting structure (120, 320) via the hinge assembly (150, 350) such that displacement of the seat (20, 110, 310) may be transferred to the isolation assembly (140, 340) via the hinge assembly (150, 350).
LAWN CARE VEHICLE WITH IMPROVED SEAT ISOLATION
A riding lawn care vehicle (10) may include a frame (60, 130) to which wheels (31, 32) of the riding lawn care vehicle (10) may be attachable, a seat (20, 110, 310) which an operator of the riding lawn care vehicle (10) may utilize when operating the riding lawn care vehicle (10), a seat mounting structure (120, 320) to which the seat (20, 110, 310) may be mounted, an isolation assembly (140, 340) which may provide vibration isolation between the frame (60, 130) and the seat mounting structure (120, 320), and a hinge assembly (150, 350) which may enable the seat (20, 110, 310) to pivot via the seat mounting structure (120, 320). The isolation assembly (140, 340) may include a motion ratio adjustment assembly (160, 360) which may define a motion ratio of the isolation assembly (140, 340) independent of an amount of pre-loaded compression. The isolation assembly (140, 340) may be operably coupled to the seat mounting structure (120, 320) via the hinge assembly (150, 350) such that displacement of the seat (20, 110, 310) may be transferred to the isolation assembly (140, 340) via the hinge assembly (150, 350).
Operator platform suspension system for turf maintenance vehicle
An adjustable suspension system for an operator platform that is pivotally attached at a pivot axis to a chassis of a turf maintenance vehicle. The system may include a suspension apparatus selectively attachable either to a support area of the chassis, or to the platform such that the apparatus is located between the support area and the platform. The suspension apparatus may be attachable at either a first location or a second location, wherein the suspension apparatus is spaced-apart from the pivot axis: by a first distance when in the first location; and by a second distance, different than the first distance, when in the second location. The suspension apparatus may include a support member and resilient element(s) attached to the support member.
Operator Platform Suspension System for Turf Maintenance Vehicle
An adjustable suspension system for an operator platform that is pivotally attached at a pivot axis to a chassis of a turf maintenance vehicle. The system may include a suspension apparatus selectively attachable either to a support area of the chassis, or to the platform such that the apparatus is located between the support area and the platform. The suspension apparatus may be attachable at either a first location or a second location, wherein the suspension apparatus is spaced-apart from the pivot axis: by a first distance when in the first location; and by a second distance, different than the first distance, when in the second location. The suspension apparatus may include a support member and resilient element(s) attached to the support member.
OPERATOR SUSPENSION
Provided is a vehicle comprising a frame and a suspension. The suspension has a platform, a spring assembly, and an adjustment. The platform has a front rotatably engaged to the frame and a rear. The spring assembly has a top engaged to the platform rear and a bottom engaged to the adjustment. The adjustment has a lever having a fulcrum, a lever output rotatably engaged to the spring assembly bottom, a lever input fixed in orientation with respect to the lever output, the lever input having a locking feature to hold the lever input fixed with respect to the fulcrum, and a platen, the platen defining a plurality of sites adapted to interface with the locking feature to lock the lever input with respect to the fulcrum; and wherein each site corresponds to a different pre-load on the spring assembly.
