MOBILE FILTRATION TECHNOLOGY
A portable fluid filtration system. The portable filtration system includes a trailer having a ceiling with a predetermined height, and having an openable and closeable ceiling passage. One or more fiber assembles are disposed in the trailer. Each filter assembly includes a filter base and a filter cartridge connectible and dis-connectible to the filter base. The filter cartridge has a height such that when it is disposed on the filter base, the filter cartridge extends beyond the predetermined height of the trailer ceiling. The system also has a fluid input/output assembly disposed in the trailer and fluidically connected to the at least one filter assembly, the liquid input/output assembly being or receiving fluid to be cleaned and inputting it to the at least one her assembly and for receiving filtered fluid from the filter assembly and for outputting it. The system further has a rotatable, extendable filter cartridge mover disposed in the trailer, for connecting and disconnecting the filter cartridge to the filter base.
VIBRATING FILTER-PLATE ASSEMBLY DEVICE
A vibrating device for a filter-plate assembly for liquid filtration having a vessel housing for the filter-plate assembly and one or more flexible volume chambers being filled with gas. The volume chambers are adapted to expand and/or compress the volumes of the chambers inside the vessel housing allowing the liquid in the vessel chamber to move relative to the surface of the filter-plates when the vessel housing including the filter-plate assembly is subjected to a vibrating motion.
Process and apparatus for separating valuable or harmful liquids from slurries
This invention relates generally to a filtration process and apparatus for separating valuable or harmful process liquids from mixtures or slurries that contain such liquids and solid particles. In particular, the invention relates to a filtration process for separating Process Liquid from a feed slurry that comprises a mixture of the Process Liquid and solid particles, the process employing a Sweep Liquid that is less dense than the Process Liquid.
Separation membrane module and repairing method thereof
An object of the present invention is to provide a separation membrane module in which an end member is prevented from coming out even at the occurrence of a reverse pressure or the like. The invention relates to a separation membrane module which is equipped with a cylinder-shaped housing and a tubular separation membrane and which takes out a fluid which has permeated the tubular separation membrane. An end pipe is connected to one end portion of the tubular separation membrane; the end pipe is supported by a support plate which is disposed so as to traverse the housing; and an end plug is connected to the other end portion of the tubular separation membrane. The separation membrane module is further equipped with a coming-out preventive member.
Membrane filtration system and membrane bio reactor including the same
A membrane filtration system and a membrane bio reactor including the same are described. In an example, the membrane filtration system includes: a treatment tank; a membrane support frame disposed in the treatment tank and mounted with a filtration membrane; a reciprocating portion connected to the membrane support frame and reciprocating the membrane support frame; a sliding portion disposed in the treatment tank, connected to the reciprocating portion, and guiding a moving direction of the membrane support frame; and a sludge lifting portion flexibly disposed at a lower end of the membrane support frame to lift sludge accumulated at a lower part of the treatment tank.
ISOLATION CHIP FOR ISOLATING TARGET PARTICLES FROM LIQUID SAMPLE, AND DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DETECTING THE TARGET PARTICLES
An isolation chip for separating and isolating target particles from a bioliquid sample includes a reagent reservoir, a first filtration membrane, a second filtration membrane, a first chamber, and a second chamber. The reagent reservoir includes a first sidewall and a second sidewall opposite to the first sidewall. The first filtration membrane is disposed at an upper portion of the first sidewall. The reagent reservoir defines a first window at a lower portion of the first sidewall. The second filtration membrane is disposed at the second sidewall. The first chamber is connected to the reagent reservoir through the first filtration membrane. The second chamber is connected to the reagent reservoir through the second filtration membrane. A device and a method for detecting the target particles are further provided.
Apparatus and apparatus assembly
The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and an apparatus assembly for assessing the suitability of a membrane, such as an osmotic membrane in an osmotic process. Furthermore, the apparatus, and apparatus assembly provide the means to optimise the parameters of an osmotic process, including the ability to gather key data for different membrane based osmotic systems to enable osmotic process and system optimisation.
Methods of purifying nanostructures
The present invention relates to methods of purifying nanostructures. The nanostructures may be silver nanowires.
Antigenic decoy entrapment filtration device and treatment methods for autoimmune disorders
A method for filtering blood is disclosed that in one embodiment includes the steps of depositing unfiltered blood along at least one side of a semi-permeable surface having multiple pores, depositing target tissue along at least an opposing side of the semi-permeable surface, and permitting the unfiltered blood to flow at least partially along the semi-permeable surface to filter the unfiltered blood. Embodiments of the invention can remove self-directed autoantibodies from the blood while reducing the complications of conventional treatments such as plasmaphoresis, and return the patient's own blood cells and its plasma components, less the disease-causing self-directed antibodies. A blood filter and a blood bag are also disclosed.
BIOSENSOR
The present invention relates to a biosensor, including: a blood cell separation membrane which separates blood cells from blood and allows plasma components to pass through; a microfluid channel through which the plasma components that have passed through the blood cell separation membrane flow; a lower substrate which allows the plasma components that have passed through the blood cell separation membrane to flow along the microfluid channel; and a pillar which connects the blood cell separation membrane and the lower substrate, in which an electrode is disposed in the pillar, and the pillar pushes and lifts the blood cell separation membrane by a predetermined distance. The biosensor of the present invention allows plasma, which is difficult to pass through the blood cell separation membrane due to surface tension, to easily pass through.
