UIO-66-NH.SUB.2.doped organosilicon high salinity wastewater treatment membrane and a preparation method thereof
The invention belongs to the technical field of composite membrane, and in particular discloses a UIO-66-NH.sub.2 doped organosilicon high salinity wastewater treatment membrane and a preparation method thereof. The membrane is formed into UIO-66-NH.sub.2/organosilicon hybrid membrane on the prefabricated ceramic support surface through the dip-coating method by doping the UIO-66-NH.sub.2 metal-organic framework material into the organosilicon polymeric sol. The UIO-66-NH.sub.2/organosilicon hybrid membrane prepared by the present invention exhibits high water permeability (up to 1.6×10.sup.−10 m.sup.3/(m.sup.2 s Pa) and high salt retention (NaCl retention rate is more than 99.9. %) in the application of pervaporation desalination, and maintains stable membrane structure in the treatment process of TDS>5 wt % high salinity wastewater.

A COMPOSITE MEMBRANE AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a method for producing a composite membrane, the method comprising impregnating a surface of a porous membrane substrate with an aqueous suspension comprising a mixture of at least one polyamine and at least one hospholipid; and contacting the impregnated surface with an organic phase containing a monomer to thereby deposit a polyamide layer on the impregnated surface. The present invention also relates to a composite membrane comprising at least one porous membrane substrate having nano-sized or micro-sized pores; and at least a polyamide layer disposed on a surface of the porous membrane substrate, the polyamide layer comprising at least one phospholipid dispersed therein, and wherein the polyamide layer is an interfacial polymerization product.
Hybrid membranes and methods of making and use thereof
Disclosed herein are hybrid membranes comprising: a microporous polymer, the microporous polymer comprising a continuous polymer phase permeated by a continuous pore phase; and an atomic scale inorganic material dispersed throughout the microporous polymer within the continuous pore phase. Methods of making and use of the hybrid membranes are also disclosed.
POROUS SUPPORT, COMPOSITE SEMIPERMEABLE MEMBRANE AND SPIRAL WOUND SEPARATION MEMBRANE ELEMENT
The objective of the present invention is to provide a porous support that is unlikely to curl (the incidence of MD curling is low). This porous support has a polymer porous layer on one surface of a nonwoven cloth layer, the nonwoven cloth layer having an MD bend stiffness of 1.2 to 2.1 g.Math.cm.sup.2/cm, and an MD bend recovery of 0.3 to 0.6 g.Math.cm/cm. The nonwoven cloth layer is impregnated with a polymer that is the material for forming the polymer porous layer, the impregnation ratio of the polymer impregnated in the nonwoven cloth layer being 25 to 34% by weight of the total weight of the polymer in the polymer porous layer and the polymer impregnated in the nonwoven cloth layer.
Method for producing a filter intended to filter nanoparticles, obtained filter and associated method for the collection and quantitative analysis of nanoparticles
The present invention relates to a method for impregnating a filter having pores suitable for retaining particles within them that may be present in a flow of air suitable for passing through the filter, according to which the filter made up of a polymer membrane is impregnated with one or more organometallic salts by applying a treatment using supercritical CO.sub.2, the metal M of each salt being chosen from among the group of rare earths, yttrium, scandium, chromium, or a combination thereof. The invention also relates to the obtained filter and an associated method for the collection and quantitative analysis of nanoparticles.
Composite poly (aryl ether ketone) membranes, their preparation and use thereof
Disclosed is the preparation of composite membranes formed by a tailored selective chemical modification of an ultra-thin nanoporous surface layer of a semi-crystalline mesoporous poly (aryl ether ketone) membrane with graded density pore structure. The composite separation layer is synthesized in situ on the poly (aryl ether ketone) substrate surface and is covalently linked to the surface of the semi-crystalline mesoporous poly (aryl ether ketone) membrane. Hollow fiber configuration is the preferred embodiment of forming the functionalized the poly (aryl ether ketone) membranes. Composite poly (aryl ether ketone) membranes of the present invention are particularly useful for a broad range of fluid separation applications, including organic solvent ultrafiltration and nanofiltration to separate and recover active pharmaceutical ingredients.
METHOD FOR MAKING TWO-DIMENSIONAL MATERIALS AND COMPOSITE MEMBRANES THEREOF HAVING SIZE-SELECTIVE PERFORATIONS
Two-dimensional materials having apertures in their basal planes are described, where at least a portion of the apertures are occluded with a selectively introduced occluding moiety. Occluding moieties that pass into apertures function to occlude apertures. Composite membranes are described having a porous substrate with a two-dimensional material disposed on the membrane and covering only a portion of the pores, wherein at least a portion of uncovered substrate pores are occluded. Pore occlusion can be achieved by introduction of an occluding particle optionally followed by chemical reaction, deformation or swelling of the particle to facilitate occlusion of pores. Two-dimensional materials covering substrate pores can be size-selected and optionally functionalized providing for selective permeability through composite membranes. Methods for occluding defects and apertures in two-dimensional materials and for selectively occluding pores in composite membranes are provided. Selectively occluded materials and membranes are useful in filtration and other applications.
