The hollow fiber membrane module according to the present application is provided with a cylindrical container open at one end and the other end, a bundle of hollow fiber membranes packed in the cylindrical container, potting parts embedding and fixing the bundle of hollow fiber membranes at both ends of the cylindrical container, and headers provided at both ends of the cylindrical container and having nozzles that constitute an inlet and outlet for a fluid. In this hollow fiber membrane module, the headers and the cylindrical container are welded in at least two areas including a primary weld and a secondary weld, and the secondary weld is located in a position where welding is initiated after or simultaneously with the beginning of welding of the primary weld.

In order to produce a tubular filter membrane element for microfiltration purposes, a plastic section of a small membrane tube is sealed at one axial end thereof and is fitted with a plastic adapter piece at the opposite end. The adapter piece is injection-molded onto the section of the small membrane tube and is preferably welded thereto. The section of the small membrane tube is sealed at the one axial end thereof by bringing this end into contact with a hot stamp.

A hollow fiber membrane blood purifying device including a cylindrical container, a hollow fiber membrane bundle, a potting resin fixing portion embedding and fixing the hollow fiber membrane bundle at each end of the cylindrical container, headers having nozzles, and ports further has the structure in which each header and the cylindrical container are welded in at least two regions over the circumference. The inside face of the header is in contact with a potting resin fixing portion cut face that is formed by cutting an outer side portion of the potting resin fixing portion in the length direction of the cylindrical container than the end face of each end of the cylindrical container, and the potting resin fixing portion cut face is in a compressively deformed state.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING AN ARRANGEMENT FOR CONDENSING A GASEOUS LIQUID INTO LIQUID STATE
The technology disclosed relates to a method for manufacturing a membrane distillation arrangement made of at least one plate including a structure having at least one depression or cavity. A membrane is an integral/integrated part of the plate structure or is joined to surface portions of a first side of the structure of the at least one plate. The joined membrane may then be substantially parallel with and is facing a relatively thin wall constituting at least some of the more central portions of the plate structure. The surface portions of the membrane may be directly joined to the surface portions of the plate structure to form a compartment configured for condensing gas into liquid. Two plates may be directly joined to each other to form a compartment for a warm-liquid channel and/or two plates may be joined to each other to form a compartment for a cooling channel.
