Modular storage compartments with tri-mode lids
Apparatus and associated methods relate to a storage system having a drawer supported, when extended from a housing, by a lid. In an illustrative example, the drawer may have a first engagement feature. The lid may, for example, have a second engagement feature. The housing may, for example, have a first slide configured to slidingly receive the drawer. The housing may, for example, have a second slide configured to slidingly receive the lid. In a support mode, for example, the lid may be disposed in the second slide beneath the drawer such that, when the drawer is slid out of the housing beyond a first distance, then the engagement features interact to extend the lid from the housing such that the lid supports at least a portion of a weight of the drawer. Various embodiments may advantageously provide a cost-effective, transportable, and/or modular storage system.
Bracket for installing side-mount, slide-out shelving
This invention is embodied in a bracket for installing side-mount, slide-out shelving. The key to this invention is an offset section of the bracket that permits the bracket to engage with a tab 4 on the side-mount slide. By engaging the bracket and the side-mount slide without having to use a fastener, an installer can locate and fasten the bracket to the existing cabinet base, thus securing the side-mount slide to the cabinet.

The trays hold one or more medical instruments, and have a door and door opening assembly. The processor is in communication with the motors for rotating the housing and opening the doors. The processor has a storage medium for storing the cart's instrument dispensing history. The processor also has a user interface for capturing user input.
SECURE LATCH ASSEMBLY FOR DRAWERS AND DOORS
A latch assembly for use with a cabinet that includes a cabinet body having a cabinet face and a moving component that moves relative to the cabinet face, includes an attachment assembly and a locking assembly. The attachment assembly is selectively coupled to the cabinet face. The attachment assembly includes an attacher body having a first arm that provides pressure on a back of the cabinet face, and a second arm that provides pressure on a front of the cabinet face when the attachment assembly is coupled to the cabinet face. The second arm is flexibly coupled to the first arm. The locking assembly is coupled to the attachment assembly. The locking assembly is selectively movable between a locked position, when the moving component is inhibited from moving relative to the cabinet face, and an unlocked position, when the moving component can be freely moved relative to the cabinet face.
Furniture kits and methods of making the same
Example furniture kits and methods of making the same are described. An example method includes coupling a first block of a connector to a rear wall of a disassembled piece of furniture, the first block having a first groove, and coupling a second block of the connector to a side wall of the piece of the furniture, the second block having a second groove. One of the first block or the second block includes an extension and the other of the first block or the second block includes an opening to receive the extension when the first and second blocks are coupled. The example method also includes packaging the rear wall, the side wall and a locking cover into a furniture kit to be used to assemble the piece of furniture. The locking cover is to couple the first and second blocks.
