Method, Facility And Tank For The Manufacture Of A Liquid Acid Concentrate Used For Hemodialysis Machines
The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a liquid acid concentrate for hemodialysis machines, with the following steps. In a preliminary step a water source (120), an acid source (130), an electrolyte tank (140) containing a mixture of electrolytes in exactly the quantity needed for the manufacture of the liquid acid concentrate, and a sodium chloride source (150) are connected to a mixing tank (110). During Step a), the quantity of water needed for the manufacture of the batch of liquid acid concentrate is introduced into the mixing tank (110). At Step b), the quantity of acid needed for manufacture the liquid acid concentrate is introduced into the mixing tank (110), the solution is stirred until a homogeneous solution is obtained. Step c) is to repeat Sub-steps c1) and c2) until the electrolyte mixture contained in the electrolyte tank is completely dissolved. At Sub-step c1) part of the solution contained in the mixing tank (110) is transfered into the electrolyte tank (140) containing the electrolyte mixture, then at Sub-step c2) the solution contained in the electrolyte tank (140) is transfered into the mixing tank, leaving the still solid constituents in the electrolyte tank. At Step d) the quantity of sodium chloride needed to manufacture the liquid acid concentrate is introduced into the mixing tank (110). Finally, at Step e), the solution is stirred and recirculated by taking it from the bottom the mixing tank (110) and reintroducing it at the top of the mixing tank until a homogeneous liquid acid concentrate is obtained. Steps a) to d) can be performed in any order, Step a) preceding always Step c).
Device For Dispersing A Water-Soluble Polymer
A device for dispersing a water-soluble polymer includes a primary water inlet circuit that feeds an overflow, at the bottom end of the cone, an assembly including a chamber for grinding and draining the dispersed polymer, having a rotor driven by a motor provided with knives, a stator, over all or part of the periphery of the chamber, a ring fed by a secondary water circuit, the ring communicating with the chamber by way of slots for spraying pressurized water onto the stator The slots of the stator and/or the knives of the rotor are tilted at an angle of between 20 and 80 relative to the horizontal plane of the stator and the lateral face of the blade next to the stator is curved in such a way as to make the distance separating the two components substantially constant.
TRANSPORTABLE MIXING SYSTEM FOR BIOLOGICAL AND PHARMACEUTICAL MATERIALS
A mixing system includes a container having a support plate and a mixing assembly supported on the support plate. The mixing assembly includes a pliable enclosure containing a fluid and a mixing device. A portion of the mixing device extends from the pliable enclosure and is adapted to be detachably coupled to a drive mechanism. A first plate is detachably secured to the rigid container. The pliable enclosure is disposed between the first plate and the support plate. A mixing arrangement includes a docking station having a drive cradle and a drive mechanism. The mixing system is removably positioned within the drive cradle so that the drive mechanism is removably coupled to the mixing device.
SOLID CLEANING PRODUCT, PRODUCT PROCESSING MACHINE AND METHOD
A device and method for processing solid cleaning product into solution. A drum has a plurality of canisters. Each canister has a top opening and a lower opening. A plate is positioned below the drum. The plate has an orifice therein. The drum and lower plate are in a rotational relationship to progressively align the lower opening of each canister with the orifice in the plate. A mixing tank is positioned below the drum. The mixing tank receives a sleeve of solid cleaning product gravitationally transported from a canister of the drum through the orifice of the lower plate.
The solid cleaning product is mixed with water in the mixing tank. After mixing, the resulting cleaning solution is transported to a holding tank. The process is repeated according to the level of cleaning solution in the holding tank.
COMPARTMENTALIZED MIXING CONTAINER AND SYSTEM
There is disclosed a compartmentalized mixing container having a soluble mix compartment connected between a lid, and a liquid compartment. The soluble mix compartment is configured to separate a soluble mix from a liquid in the liquid compartment while the soluble mix compartment is closed, and to release the soluble mix to the liquid when the soluble mix compartment is opened. After the soluble mix is sufficiently dissolved in the liquid, the resulting liquid mix may be drank from the compartmentalized mixing container, by passing from the liquid compartment, through a pathway in the opened liquid compartment, to the lid and out. The compartmentalized mixing container may include a magnetic stirrer inside the liquid compartment, and a magnetic stirrer base detachably mounted to its bottom, for spinning the magnetic stirrer. There is also disclosed a system for compartmentalizing a soluble mix and a liquid, and stirring the soluble mix and the liquid into a liquid mix to allow a user to drink the liquid mix. The system may include modular components that connect together in various permutations, and a separate docking station. The docking station may be configured to stir and heat the liquid inside of the liquid compartment.
