Method of installing apron-front sink
A method of installing an under-mount apron-front sink to a cabinet includes placing an under-mount apron-front sink onto a portion of the cabinet, wherein the under-mount apron-front sink extends through an opening disposed in a front wall of the cabinet and sliding the under-mount apron-front sink in a rearward direction through the opening until a front apron of the sink engages the front wall of the cabinet, wherein the front apron comprises a left end and a right end. A lateral distance between the left end and the right end of the front apron is greater than a lateral width of the opening of the cabinet such that the front apron at least partially overlaps the opening such that the opening is not visible with the sink installed.
Worktop for pieces of furniture and method for joining slabs so as to obtain said worktop
A worktop (1) for pieces of furniture includes two slabs (3, 4) made of stone, arranged so that they are adjacent to each other at the level of corresponding head surfaces (5, 6) in order to define a work surface (2) exposed to the outside. A joining arrangement is suited to stably connect the slabs (3, 4) and includes a first bonding substance (8) interposed between the head surfaces (5, 6) and recesses (9) obtained on the head surfaces (5, 6) of each slab (3, 4), mutually facing each other and configured in such a way as to define corresponding housings completely delimited in the direction of the thickness of the slabs (3, 4), the first bonding substance (8) being spread mainly in the housings.
Apron-front sink assembly
An assembly includes a cabinet including a front face and an opening in the front face that is defined at least in part by two vertical cut lines and a horizontal cut line that extends between the two vertical cut lines. The assembly also includes a sink coupled to the cabinet, the sink including a basin and an apron coupled to the basin and located forward of the basin to provide a front surface of the sink. The apron has a lateral width that is wider than the opening such that ends of the apron overlap the two vertical cut lines to conceal the vertical cut lines on the front face of the cabinet.
