Toilet system for detecting tags in pharmaceutical and nutritional products which are excreted in solid waste

We disclose a toilet system which analyzes solid waste to detect tags which were associated with pharmaceutical or nutritional products and excreted in the solid waste of a user. The toilet system may include a receptacle for receiving solid waste, a liquid dispenser for providing a liquid to assist in dispersing the solid waste, a solid waste dispersing system which may mix the solid waste with the liquid thereby homogenizing the solid waste, and an electromagnetic signature detector which may analyze the tags in the solid waste. The electromagnetic signature detector may include a selective binding surface which may bind tags present in the solid waste and which may be connected to a transducer which senses the presence of bound tags.

In situ foam generation apparatus for on-site, on-demand, economical production of foaming solvents

An in-situ foam generation apparatus includes a dissolution chamber that houses a polymer stick cavity or canister, a mixing chamber that houses a static mixer, and a foaming chamber that houses a mechanical agitator in fluid communication with a compressed air inlet. The chambers are in fluid communication with one another by way of a respective chamber inlet and outlet, with the mixing chamber being located between the dissolution and foaming chambers. A pressure regulator can be used to control the incoming aqueous solution pressure to the dissolution chamber. A nozzle exhaust is in fluid communication with the outlet of the foaming chamber. One or more polymer sticks that include one or more cleaning agent can be loaded into the cavity or canister of the dissolution chamber. An end consistency of the polymer stick can be in a range of partially solidified to fully solidified.

The ballast water and fish farm treatment system for circulating effluent water of a fish farm or a ship by filtering and resupplying the effluent water, the system including a heat exchange system to heat or cool the effluent water, a physical filtration unit to filter out impurities from the effluent water are discharged from the heat exchange system, and a chemical filtration unit to mix the effluent water discharged from the physical filtration unit with chlorine dioxide, wherein the effluent water discharged from the chemical filtration unit is resupplied to the fish farm or the ship. The ballast water and fish farm treatment system allows circulation water of the ship and fish farm to be reused after completely removing parasites, hazardous organisms, germs, and viruses from the circulation water using a combination of physical, chemical and physiological treatment techniques.

METHOD FOR PREVENTING FORMATION OF A SLUG FLOW REGIME OF A GAS-LIQUID MIXTURE IN A NON-LINEAR WELLBORE OR PIPELINE

A method for preventing formation of a slug flow regime of a gas-liquid mixture in a non-linear wellbore or a pipeline comprises determining at least one most probable place of fluid slugs development in the wellbore or the pipeline by mathematical simulation based on expected values of the gas-liquid mixture flow and known geometry of the wellbore or the pipeline and mounting a device, in the determined place of fluid slug development, that converts the stratified gas-liquid mixture flow into a dispersed flow.

The present invention provides subsurface irrigation systems and air injection mechanism and microbubble generating mechanism. The systems of the present invention are operable to provide an evenly distributed air microbubbles in a stream of fluid (e.g., subsurface irrigation water) to evenly provide gas therein (e.g., oxygen for plants receiving the irrigation water along an entire length of an irrigation line). The microbubble generating mechanism may use pressure generated from flow of fluid to cavitate the fluid and thereby distribute gas microbubbles in the fluid. In irrigation examples, the resulting air infused water delivers an effective amount of oxygen to the roots of the irrigation crops.
