Rotor of a dual centrifuge
The invention relates to a rotor (10) of a dual centrifuge wherein the rotor has a rotor head (12) and an additional rotational mechanism for at least one rotational unit (22) which is provided in the rotor head (12) and comprises a bearing unit (70) and a rotational head (24) that is connected to the bearing unit (70) which is rotatably mounted and can be driven relative to the rotor head (12) by an additional rotational mechanism, an opening (16) for the rotational unit (22) being provided in which the rotational unit is accommodated and by means of which the bearing (70) is arranged such that it is fixed relative to the rotor head (12). The invention is characterized in that the rotational unit (22) has a housing (26) in which the bearing unit (70) is accommodated and in which the rotational head (24) engages, and in that the housing (26) and the rotational head (24) form, with bearing unit (70), a structural unit, the housing (26) being mounted such that it cannot rotate relative to the rotor head (12) and such that it can be detached from the rotor head.
ADAPTER AND ASSEMBLY FOR PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOUNDING
An assembly for insertion into a holder of a mixer, comprising: a dispenser having an exterior surface of which at least a band is symmetric about a longitudinal axis of the dispenser; and an adapter for surrounding at least the band of the exterior surface of the dispenser. The adapter comprises a closeable shell, the shell being configured to lock the dispenser in at least a region of the band so as to impede rotational slippage of the dispenser relative to the adapter about the longitudinal axis with the shell being closed. If the assembly is then locked to/engaged with the holder of a planetary mixer, this causes the assembly to undergo superimposed revolution and rotation movements in tandem with those of the holder, resulting in a desired level of mixing being imparted to the dispenser's contents, which may improve homogeneity and predictability of the mixing results.
ADAPTER FOR USE IN A PLANETARY MIXER
A dispensing container and adapter system for use with a planetary mixer is disclosed. The dispensing container has a longitudinal axis and a transverse axis. The dispensing container may include a nozzle and a removable cap to cover the nozzle. The removable cap may have a first width dimension measured along the transverse axis. The dispensing container may include a body having a second width dimension measured along the transverse axis. An adapter may receive the dispensing container. The adapter may include a cavity to receive the removable cap. The cavity may have a cavity width that exceeds the first width dimension. The adapter may also include a recess for receiving a portion of the dispensing container. The recess may extend from the cavity. At least a portion of the recess may have a width dimension smaller than both the first width dimension and the second width dimension.
DISPERSION DEVICE AND SLURRY DISPERSION SYSTEM
A dispersion device is provided, including a container and a porous dispersion structure. The container has a first receiving space. The porous dispersion structure has at least three porous dispersion layers and has a second receiving space, wherein the porous dispersion structure is located in the first receiving space of the container.
Methods and Systems for Pharmaceutical Compounding
A computer-implemented method for execution by a processor of a computing device. The method comprises implementing a computerized graphical user interface (GUI) that provides a user of the computing device with an opportunity to identify a pharmaceutical compounding formula; consulting a database at least partly on a basis of the identified pharmaceutical compounding formula in order to determine mixing parameters for a planetary mixer, associated with the identified pharmaceutical compounding formula; and causing a mixer to subject a container to superimposed rotation and revolution movements in accordance with the mixing parameters determined from consulting the database.
ROTATION MIXER WITH IMPROVED BELT DRIVE
A rotation mixer including a housing, a drive unit coupled to the housing, a carriage mounted on the drive unit for rotation relative to the housing, and a basket mounted for rotation relative to the carriage. The basket receives material to be mixed. The carriage includes an arm and a drive line coupled to the arm. The arm is mounted on the drive unit for rotation about a first axis relative to the housing, and the drive line converts rotation of the arm into rotation of the basket about a second axis relative to the arm during use of the rotation mixer. The drive line illustratively includes a belt and plurality of pulleys upon which the belt travels in a continuous loop, the belt engaging with a gear on the basket to cause rotation of the basket.
Baby Bottle Warmer and Mixer
A bottle warming apparatus is disclosed that combines heating and agitating of a bottle and its contents in order to achieve even warming, as well as, mixing the contents of the bottle.
SERVO-ROBOTIC ASYMMETRIC ROTATIONAL MIXER AND SYSTEM
Devices, systems, and methods are provided for mixing by asymmetric rotation using a servo motor to drive the symmetric rotation. The system may include a robotic arm and robotic controller.
Skin care composition and method of making a skin care composition
A method for managing a skin care system. The skin care system includes circuitry to receive skin information from a user. The circuitry determines treatable skin conditions based on the skin information. The skin care system generates severity information and cosmetic formulation compatibility information based on the treatable skin conditions. The skin care system is further able to virtually display user-specific compatible cosmetic formulations based on at least one parameter associated with the severity information and cosmetic formulation compatibility.
