Rotating vacuum tank and method
12201953 · 2025-01-21 ·

A vacuum tank with a rear door, and air and material hoses connectable to the tank door. The tank is rotatable, while the door remains stationary. Liquid, particulate, or slurry material can be vacuumed into the rotating tank, without twisting the hoses. Additional water and/or drying agent can be added to the tank to create a slurry mixture, which can then be discharged from the tank at a convenient dump site. The tank may be mounted on a truck or trailer for transport to a job site and a dump site.

Mixer with indirect steam heating and/or water heating or cooling

The present invention relates to a mixer with a drum that comprises a mantle, a bottom and a top and which rotates around an axis of rotation.

Blending apparatus for manufactured wood processing

An improved blending apparatus for manufactured wood products with a rotating blending drum or cylinder with a pattern of alternating flights of different configurations extending from the interior of the drum. The flights lift the strands as the drum rotates to different heights before the strands free-fall back to the bottom of the drum. One flight is shorter, and may be trapezoidal in cross-section. The second flight is taller, and may have a bull-nose configuration with substantially vertical sides. During operation, the design of the bull-nose flight tends to hold more strands and to carry them closer to the top of the drum before the strands drop and fall. In contrast, the shorter height and angled sides of the trapezoidal flight tends to hold fewer strands and to not carry them as high along the side before strands drop and fall. The alternating pattern causes a more consistent and dispersed fall of strands as the drum rotates, resulting in a significantly larger and more consistent amount of the sprayed adhesives and waxes being applied to the strands, and not passing through gaps to build up on the drum wall.

Device for the improvement of crude pellets and pelletizing process

A pelletizing process, having two distinct serial stages. In the first stage, crude (or green) pellets of a given ore, or a mixture of ores (such as iron ore, manganese ore and other minerals), are produced, while in the second stage, a Device for Improvement of Crude Pellets, is used. The Device includes a slightly elastic and smooth surface, with reduced attrition rate, that may be striated, and that, encircled in itself, forms a cylindrical geometric hollow figure supported by a metallic structure, also cylindrical, with the set forming a finishing drum. The Device rotates with an inner and continuous charge of ore pellets, and can rearrange the structure of such pellets, improving their physical quality: compressive strength, sphericity and surface finishing, and assimilate fines generated during previous processes. This device allows application of diverse materials to the pellets to add required extra properties per specificities of subsequent industrial processes.

Stirring apparatus for boiled noodles

A stirring apparatus includes a bed, a column, a revolution shaft, a revolution driving device, a support member, and a stirring unit. The revolution shaft is supported by the column and extends in a horizontal direction. The revolution driving device rotates the revolution shaft about a first center line being an axis of the revolution shaft. The support member is fixed to the revolution shaft. The stirring unit includes cups and a self-rotation mechanism. The cups are disposed on a circumference centered on the first center line via the support member. The self-rotation mechanism rotates the cups about a second center line passing through a center of the cups. The cups is provided in an inclined manner so that a perpendicular from the center of a bottom plate to the first center line is shorter than a perpendicular from the center of an opening to the first center line.

Wet concrete conditioning

Method and equipment for conditioning wet concrete (703), the wet concrete (703) being agitated in a revolving-drum concrete mixer (702), thereby bringing changing portions of the wet concrete (703) to a free surface (706) of the wet concrete (703) inside the mixer (702), the agitated wet concrete (703) being cooled and partially carbonated in that liquid and/or solid carbon dioxide is supplied to the concrete mixer (702) simultaneously with liquid nitrogen so that both the supplied nitrogen and the supplied carbon dioxide contact the free surface (706) of the wet concrete (703).
