APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING ASYMMETRIC OSCILLATIONS
Disclosed is an apparatus and method for providing asymmetric oscillations to a container. The container may include a fluid, a particle, and/or a gas. A vibration driver attached to the container provides asymmetric oscillations. A controller connected to the vibration driver controls an amplitude, frequency, and shape of the asymmetric oscillations. An amplifier amplifies the asymmetric oscillations in response to the controller. A sensor disposed on the vibration driver provides feedback to the controller.
KNEADING MACHINE FOR USE IN THE PROCESSING OF FOOD DOUGHS
A kneading machine for use in the processing of food dough, to be used in bakeries, breadstick factories, and the pastry and confectionery industry as well as for domestic use. The kneading machine is of the mechanical arm type wherein the kneading tool (10) completes a trajectory which extends more than half and up to the entire diameter of the tub (V) containing the dough. The working end or terminal part of the kneading tool includes a shaped kneading implement (9) immersed in the mass of dough (P) both in the outward travel and in the return travel and acts on the entire mass of dough.

A manufacturing apparatus includes a mixing machine having a receiving housing with a first receiving location configured to receive a first deformable capsule and a second receiving location configured to receive a second deformable capsule, the first and second capsules intended to be fluidly linked to each other and containing respectively a first formulation and a second formulation. The mixing machine has at least an electrically motorized actuation system configured to transmit a pressure force to the first and second capsules to move the content of the first capsule in the second capsule, and vice versa, and an electrical heater element configured to heat at least one of the first and second capsules when the first and second capsules are received in the mixing machine, in which, in a preparation phase prior to bringing the two formulations into contact, the actuation system and the heater element are electrically supplied alternately.
RETORT AGITATION SYSTEM
A retort agitation system (100) for thermal processing of products includes product carriers 102a and 102b mounted on a low friction support system 104 for reciprocal movement of the carriers along the interior of a retort. The product carriers are driven in reciprocating motion by a drive actuator system 106 that can be positioned between the carriers 102a and 102b or endwise of the two carriers 102a and 102b. A drive actuator system 106 is linked to the carriers to cause the carriers to move along non-sinusoidal paths lengthwise of the retort. Reaction actuators 108 act on the carriers in opposition or in supplement to the drive actuator system 106 to apply forces on the carriers for accelerating the carriers along their non-sinusoidal paths of travel.
Stirring apparatus
Provided is a stirring apparatus that can drive a stirring body with a simple structure and without applying excessive force. The stirring apparatus is provided with: the stirring body, which is a two-circle roller having an axis of rotation and two stirring fins; first and second drive shafts with axial centers not matching the axis rotation; a first shaft coupling, which connects the first drive shaft on a first stirring fin side of the axis rotation; a second shaft coupling, which connects the second drive shaft on a second stirring fin side of the axis of rotation; and a driving unit that exclusively carries out rotary drive of only either of the first and second drive shafts. The driving unit is provided with a regulating member that makes a teeth angular range of a first gear face a power-driven gear without play at a rotary position where the boundary between the teeth angular range and a missing teeth angular range of the first gear faces the power-driven gear and makes a teeth angular range of a second gear face the power-driven gear without backlash at a rotary position where the boundary between the teeth angular range and a missing teeth angular range of the second gear faces the power-driven gear.
Manufacturing apparatus, mixing machine and/or receiving device for the manufacture of a composition from a mixture of formulations
A mixing method using a mixing machine including a support having a receiving housing including first receiving location configured to receive a first deformable capsule and a second receiving location configured to receive a second deformable capsule. The first and second capsules are fluidly linked and respectively contain a first formulation and a second formulation, the mixing machine includes an actuation system having a first actuation member configured to transmit a pressure force on the first capsule and of a second actuation member configured to transmit a pressure force on the second capsule. The mixing method includes a preparation phase that includes, successively: setting in motion the second actuation member; setting in motion the first actuation member, along a stroke lower than its actuation stroke; and heating by the heater element.
CELL CULTURE METHOD AND CELL CULTURE DEVICE
A cell culture method conducted by supplying a culture medium together with cells to a container (1), an upward movement step in which the container is moved upward to a position higher than the initial position and a downward movement step in which the container that has been moved upward is returned to the initial position, and vibration is applied to the container that has been returned to the original position are repeated, whereby a content liquid in the container is stirred. As a result, a good culture environment is maintained by conducting stirring such that distribution of cells and concentration of components of a culture medium in a content liquid become uniform, while reducing damage on cells by shear stress, and adherence of cells to the inner wall or excessive agglomeration is suppressed by stirring, whereby proliferation of cells can be promoted.
