Method for transportation and agitation of refinery solids waste
A method of transporting solid refinery waste includes loading solid refinery waste into a mobile tank having at least one sloped floor wall and a plurality of compartments separated by at least one buffer. The method may also include maintaining a head space between a top level of the solid refinery waste and a top wall of the mobile tank. The method may also include delivering the mobile tank to a burning facility that maintains a reserve of diluent and that is equipped with an agitator configured for lowering into the mobile tank through a manhole opening, to thereby permit the diluent to be conveyed into the headspace and mixed with the solid refinery waste, thereby enabling a resulting mixture to be off-loaded for burning at the burning facility.
DIRECT CHEMICAL INJECTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A system includes a recirculation line, a mainline flow meter operable to measure a flowrate of fluid flowing through the recirculation line, a mixing chamber, an inlet line coupled between the recirculation line and the mixing chamber, at least one chemical injection port coupled to the inlet line, a dedicated feed pump operably associated with each chemical injection port, and an outlet line coupled between the mixing chamber and the recirculation line. The mixing chamber includes a plurality of mixing zones, a mixing blade assembly that includes at least one blade within each mixing zone, and a motor coupled to the mixing blade assembly and operable to rotate the mixing blade assembly. Each of the dedicated feed pumps is coupled to a separate chemical supply and is operable to pump a chemical to the corresponding chemical injection port for injection into the inlet line.

Method of removing and disposing of waste from a refinery ground tank including mixing at least one diluent with reduced-size solids to cause a flowable mixture
A method for disposing of solid refinery waste is disclosed. The method includes removing solid waste constituents from inside a refinery tank using excavating machinery, delumping the solid waste constituents, and conveying the delumped solid waste constituents into a mobile tank. The method further includes transporting the delumped solid waste constituents in the mobile tank to a burning facility, adding at least one diluent, mixing, and pumping from the mobile tank a flowable mixture of refinery waste and the at least one diluent at the burning facility.
Adjustable blender pump mount for hydraulic fracturing
A blender system includes a skid and a blender assembly, the blender assembly including a blender tub and the blender tub including an outlet. The blender system also includes a discharge pump, the discharge pump coupled to the outlet and an adjustable mount, the adjustable mount supporting the discharge pump. The adjustable mount includes a bottom plate, the bottom plate including a plurality of rows of slots and two side gussets, the side gussets having tabs, the tabs inserted in the rows of slots of the bottom plate. In addition, the adjustable mount includes a top plate, the top plate positioned perpendicularly to the two side gussets and in parallel with the bottom plate. The top plate is affixed to the side gussets and to the discharge pump.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR RESPONSIVELY INJECTING CHEMISTRIES DIRECTLY INTO A DOWNHOLE SLURRY
A system and method that provides an automated process for the trenchless construction marketspace. The system including a containerized unit consisting of a plurality of holding tanks, fluid agitators, hootenanny mixers, progressive cavity pumps and pneumatic valving. The operator of the system is capable of mixing costly polymer chemistries simultaneously while dosing the custom mixes into the active circulating system at a fixed rate.
