Cartridge for performing assays in a closed sample preparation and reaction system
In one embodiment, a multiplex fluid processing cartridge includes a sample well, a deformable fluid chamber, a mixing well with a mixer disposed therein, a lysis chamber including a lysis mixer, an electrowetting grid for microdroplet manipulation, and electrosensor arrays configured to detect analytes of interest. An instrument for processing the cartridge is configured to receive the cartridge and to selectively apply thermal energy, magnetic force, and electrical connections to one or more discrete locations on the cartridge and is further configured to compress the deformable chamber(s) in a specified sequence.
Stirring Device Applicable To Containers
A stirring device applicable to containers is disclosed, which includes a power module, a control module and a driver module. The power module provides power for this whole device, the driver module is equipped with an output shaft, and the output shaft is connected to a stirring rod extending into an interior of the container. The control module has specific forward and reverse rotations program scheme, its specific operation mode is that, the stirring rod is controlled to rotate in one direction for a number of seconds or revolutions, and then followed by in an opposite direction for a number of seconds or revolutions, and such cycle is repeated again and again. A mixer adopting above technical solutions can well meet requirements of churning such as stable, low noise, fast, uniform, and non-foaming.
QUICK DISCONNECT FOR INTERMEDIATE BULK CONTAINER
One or more techniques and/or systems are disclosed for a mixing assembly. The mixing assembly includes a rigid shaft; an end connection component coupled to a first end of the rigid shaft; and a start connection component coupled to a second end of the rigid shaft opposite to the first end of the rigid shaft. Further, a motor drive is coupled to the start connection component and configured to rotate the start connection component, the rigid shaft, and the end connection component. A collar is arranged between the start connection component and the motor drive. A connector is arranged between the collar and the start connection component. The connector includes threads configured to threadably attach to an opening in an intermediate bulk container for mixing a liquid housed therein.
Reactor Systems
This disclosure relates to equipment utilized to manufacture chemical agents, particularly biopharmaceuticals. In some embodiments, reactor systems comprising a mobile carriage assembly; a disposable reaction container removably attached to the carriage assembly; and, a carriage holder into which the mobile carriage assembly may be removably inserted are provided.
CARTRIDGE FOR PERFORMING ASSAYS IN A CLOSED SAMPLE PREPARATION AND REACTION SYSTEM

An instrument for processing the cartridge is configured to receive the cartridge and to selectively apply thermal energy, magnetic force, and electrical connections to one or more discrete locations on the cartridge and is further configured to compress the deformable chamber(s) in a specified sequence.
Drill attachment
A drill assembly attachment having a handle, a drill mount, and a throttle. The throttle may have a first portion and a second portion rotationally engaged with the first portion such that the second portion is rotationally actuated in response to linear actuation of the first portion of the throttle. The throttle is positioned with respect to the drill mount and the handle such that the first portion may be linearly actuated by a user with a hand grasping the handle. The drill assembly attachment receives a drill assembly such that the throttle adjustably engages a trigger of the drill assembly. The drill assembly attachment or the drill assembly receives an auger or other tool and the drill assembly attachment with the drill assembly and auger or other tool is used in a method of rotating the auger or other tool.
Method of removing and disposing of waste from a refinery ground tank including mixing at least one diluent with reduced-size solids to cause a flowable mixture
A method for disposing of solid refinery waste is disclosed. The method includes removing solid waste constituents from inside a refinery tank using excavating machinery, delumping the solid waste constituents, and conveying the delumped solid waste constituents into a mobile tank. The method further includes transporting the delumped solid waste constituents in the mobile tank to a burning facility, adding at least one diluent, mixing, and pumping from the mobile tank a flowable mixture of refinery waste and the at least one diluent at the burning facility.
Stirred tank reactor systems and methods of use
A method of mixing a fluid includes positioning a flexible bag into the chamber of a support housing, the support housing having a plurality of baffles positioned so that the bag folds around the baffles. A fluid is delivered into a compartment of the flexible bag. A mixing element, such as an impeller, is moved within the compartment of the flexible bag so as to mix the fluid therein.
Multifunctional food processor
A multifunctional food processor is provided comprising a driving device, a stirring container and a blade assembly. The driving device directly or indirectly drives the blade assembly, and the blade assembly is rotatably disposed in the stirring container. The blade assembly comprises a blade shaft capable of receiving at least two layers of stirring blades. At least one of the layers of stirring blades is consisted of a blade carrier and at least two blades, at least one of the blades extending in an angle of 85 to 95 degree with respect to the blade shaft, and at least another one of the blades extending upward in an angle of 0 to 80 degree with respect to the blade shaft. Another one of the layers of stirring blades is consisted of a blade carrier and at least one blade extending in an angle of 85 to 95 degree with respect to the blade shaft.
