METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR PROCESSING FLUIDS
A method for processing a fluid includes removably securing a retention member to a vessel that bounds a chamber; inserting a collapsible bag within the chamber of the vessel; securing the bag to the retention member so that the bag is supported within the chamber of the vessel; and dispensing a fluid into a compartment of the collapsible bag supported within the chamber of the vessel. The fluid can be mixed within bag while the bag is disposed within the vessel.
APPLIANCE FOR MAKING ICE CREAM
A bowl assembly for a base driven appliance, the base driven appliance providing a primary drive coupling for the accessory assembly. The accessory assembly including: a bowl element that defines a reservoir; and a gear-box element having a secondary drive coupling and a secondary driven coupling. The bowl element defames a lower recess that removably receives the gear-box element, such that the primary drive coupling can engage the secondary driven coupling when the bowl assembly is supported by the base driven appliance. The secondary driven coupling is couplable to an accessory element that is operated within the reservoir, and such that the accessory element is operable by rotation of the primary drive coupling.
Revolving chamber oscillation mixing devices and associated methods
Mixing devices and associated methods are described herein. Various embodiments of mixing devices can comprise a plate configured to rotate about a longitudinal axis and a plurality of enclosures coupled to the plate. The enclosures can each include (a) at least one sidewall that defines an oblique angle with the plate and (b) a chamber configured to receive a media and a fluid. The enclosures can be fluidly coupled to a fluid source for receiving the fluid in the chambers. When the plate is rotated, the enclosures revolve about the longitudinal axis to mix the media with the fluid in the chambers.
STORAGE CONTAINER FOR VACUUM BLENDER WITH BACKFLOW PREVENTION FUNCTION
The objective of the present invention is to provide a storage container for a vacuum blender having a backflow prevention function, which is configured such that a floating valve member is installed at a lower part of a sealing lid for covering the storage container for the vacuum blender, and when micronized foodstuffs, such as foam, rise in the process of creating a vacuum in the storage container, the floating valve member rises together by means of buoyancy of the micronized foodstuffs to hermetically seal an air passage, thereby preventing the micronized foodstuffs from flowing back out of the storage container. In order to achieve the above objective, the storage container for a vacuum blender having a backflow prevention function, according to the present invention, is a storage container used in a vacuum blender capable of processing foodstuffs in a vacuum state, and comprises: a container body which has an open upper portion and is provided with an inner space for storing foodstuffs; a sealing lid which covers the upper portion of the container body and has a check valve for blocking air from flowing into the inner space from the outside of the container body in a vacuum state; and a backflow preventing means which is installed at a lower portion of the sealing lid and has a floating valve member embedded therein to prevent micronized foodstuffs from flowing back out of the sealing lid through the check valve in such a manner that when the micronized foodstuffs rise, the floating valve member rises together by means of buoyancy to hermetically seal an air passage.
FLUID MIXING DEVICE
The invention relates to a fluid mixing device which mixes a base fluid with one or more additive fluids coming from respective containers, said device being characterised in that it is quick and easy to use and in that no traces are left between uses. The device comprises a first module (1) for extracting at least one first fluid contained in at least one base fluid container (23), a drag, extrusion and discharge mechanism (2), a second module (3) for extracting one or more second fluids or additive fluids from one or more additive containers (24), a mixing tank (4) provided with a hole for the discharge of the final mixture, a battery-powered electronic control board (27), wherein a single stepper motor is used for applying pressure to the base fluid container and the additional fluid container(s), and the drag, extrusion and discharge mechanisms (2) are actuated.
