Bioreactors
Miniature stirred tank bioreactor and system; the bioreactor configured for single use culturing providing unobstructed culturing volume with sensors, probes and ports using minimally invasive placement in-wall or across the wall methods; the bioreactor further capable of containing scaffolds and features for culturing cells and tissue, including structures providing surfaces for cell growth, and screens for retaining microparticles during media exchange.
Two-component mixing capsule, in particular for dental purposes
The disclosure relates to a two-component mixing capsule for intake and for mixing of two compositions with a capsule housing having a discharge spout at its front end, wherein the mixing capsule comprises a first mixing chamber and a second mixing chamber, wherein the two mixing chambers may be separated from each other for storage or for transport, by the first mixing chamber being rotatable into a first position in which the first mixing chamber is separated from mixing chamber, by a rotatably mounted handhold element, the rotational axis of which is approximately perpendicularly arranged to the longitudinal axis of the mixing capsule. The two mixing chambers form a common mixing chamber by rotating the first mixing chamber into a second position in which the central axes of the first and second mixing chamber are substantially coaxially arranged, wherein the composition may be discharged after mixing by attaching a squeezing piston.
Commercial confection mixer apparatus
A mixing apparatus may include a bowl defining at least one bowl opening for contents of the bowl to exit therefrom, and a valve assembly configured to selectively attach to the bowl at the bowl opening and including at least one base portion defining a base opening and configured to selectively receive a seal portion, the seal portion being movable between open and close positions, wherein in the open position, the base opening is unobstructed allowing contents of the bowl exit the bowl via the base opening, and in the closed position, the seal portion blocks the base opening preventing contents from exiting the bowl.

AGITATION DEVICE AND AGITATION METHOD
An agitation device includes a holder that holds a cartridge containing a liquid on a placement surface angled with respect to a horizontal plane; and a rotator that rotates the holder to agitate the liquid.
CONTAINER FOR BONE MATERIAL STORAGE, MIXING AND DELIVERY
A container for mixing bone material is provided. The container includes an interior surface for receiving the bone material and an exterior surface having a distal end and proximal end. The distal end of the exterior surface includes a locking member configured to enclose the bone material onto the interior surface of the container. The proximal end of the exterior surface of the container contains a port configured to receive fluid to mix the bone material. A method of using the container to mix and/or deliver the bone material is also provided.
SYSTEM FOR SMALL-BATCH BRINE PRODUCTION
A system for mixing, for example, salt with water to make brine, includes a mixing vessel removably mounted within a bulk vessel. The mixing vessel is provided with a divider/filtration wall separating a front portion, where solid granular material is provided and mixes with a liquid for purposes of dissolving the solid granular material into the liquid, and a rear portion. The mixing vessel is provided with an agitation pipe along a floor thereof, and is shaped to minimize settled granular material from collecting at the base of the mixing vessel. The divider/filtration wall serves to prevent overflow, includes one or more screens to allow liquid, but prevent granular material larger than the pore size of the screens, to pass from the front portion to the rear portion, and in the event of overflow, minimize turbulence in material passing over the divider/filtration wall, all of which promote delivery of a uniform distribution of dissolved material to the batch tank. In the case of salt brine production, a wireless salinity sensor can accurately measure salt concentration in real time at a variety of depths.

Magnetic spinner device with reels in a lower housing with a removably attachable lower portion
A magnetic spinner device using an impeller system to disperse heat and stir contents there-above is disclosed herein. A motor turning the impeller is offset from a center line extending vertically through the device. The impeller, however, is centered with fan blades pushing air downwards as heat rises from a heat source placed there-below, such as between legs which support the impeller and bowl of the device, the bowl being used to hold a flask and/or substances to be heated. The turning of the motor is translated to the turning of the impeller by way of two reels connected by a belt and placed within a lower housing with a removably connected lower portion. In this manner, the electric parts (the motor) and spared the brunt of the heat by being off-center while the heat rises upwards. The simplification of parts leaves less points of potential failure compared to the prior art as does the movement of electric parts away from being above a heat source.
