The plug can be associated with and plug the cup protrusion opening when the cup is being filled or mixed, or the plug can be associated with the plunger port to seal off the air vent holes when material is dispensed from the device. Also disclosed is a method of mixing and dispensing a flowable material.
Method and apparatus to create autologous clotting serum
A clotting serum production device including a main chamber, an inlet housing, and an outlet port. The main chamber is defined by a first end wall, a second end wall opposite to the first end wall, and a side wall extending between the first end wall and the second end wall. The inlet housing extends from the first end wall. The inlet housing includes a first inlet port, a second inlet port, and a first conduit extending between the first inlet port and a second conduit. The second conduit extends between the second inlet port and the main chamber. The inlet housing is configured to provide one-way fluid flow from the first inlet port to the second inlet port and to provide one-way fluid flow from the second inlet port to the main chamber. An outlet port is in fluid communication with the main chamber and provides fluid communication with an exterior of the clotting serum production device.
AUTOMATED SOLUTION DISPENSER
Provided herein are methods and systems of the invention that include the use of an automated solution dispenser to form a solution according to at least one target characteristic. A controller may be operatively connected to the automated solution dispenser, wherein the controller is programmed to direct mixing of one or more solids and one or more liquids to produce the solution. At least a portion of the solution can be dispensed into one or more containers.
Mixing Device and Methods For Making Bone Cement
A mixing device and methods for making bone cement. A piston (156) of the mixing device is located in a first region (158) of a chamber (112) such that a mixing paddle (154) rotates to mix bone cement components at a first pressure to make a bone cement mixture. The piston (156) is moved passed an inlet opening (136) to be located within a second region (160) of the chamber (112) to compress the bone cement mixture to a second pressure greater than the first pressure to compress the bone cement mixture and make the bone cement. The bone cement may be transferred to a delivery device. The mixing device may include features that automatically initiate the compression and transferring phases after completion of the mixing phase, and further include features that automatically terminate the operational cycle. A three-step intuitive workflow utilizing the mixing device to improve efficiency in the surgical suite is also disclosed.
PLANT GROWING SYSTEM USING WATER EXTRACTED FROM AIR
A plant growing system using water extracted from air, the system which has a Peltier element connected to a power supply and includes a heat dissipating member and a cooling member to collect condensate by condensing moisture in the air. The plant growing system includes: a mixing part having a storage tank and a nutrient supply tank, the storage tank into which condensate obtained from the air is introduced and stored, and the nutrient supply tank which is connected to the storage tank so that a predetermined amount of nutrients is supplied through a nutrient control valve; an atomizer having one side connected to a compressor whose opening and closing is controlled by an injection valve, the atomizer being connected to the mixing part via a pipe so that a solution flows and is then stored in the atomizer.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INFUSING AND DISPENSING OILS, AND DRYING AND HEATING INFUSING MATERIALS
The present invention pertains in general to an apparatus and method for the drying and activating of infusing material, and the infusing, agitation and dispensation of oils in a controlled manner to produce a desired potency of an infusion while remaining below an identified maximum temperature threshold.
LIQUID CONTAINING GAS BUBBLES PRODUCTION APPARATUS
A production apparatus for a liquid containing gas bubbles includes a casing, a pump unit, and a gas bubble-mixing unit. The casing is provided with a main flow channel for a liquid, the main flow channel having a liquid inflow port and a liquid outflow port. The pump unit is disposed in the main flow channel and pumps the liquid to the liquid outflow port from the liquid inflow port. The gas bubble-mixing unit includes a first choke portion that is disposed in the main flow channel and has an inner diameter decreased and a gas supply channel that supplies the first choke portion with a gas.
