A bearing housing is positioned within the receiving space and is spaced apart from the retainer by a first spacing. A nut is operably coupled with the bearing housing and is at least partially received by the receiving space. The nut is spaced apart from the retainer by a second spacing. A gasket is positioned to maintain at least one of the first and second spacings of the bearing housing and the nut relative to the retainer.

BLENDER APPARATUS WITH SAFETY INTERLOCK SYSTEM

A blending device (100) is provided including a blade assembly (106) having a blade coupling structure, the blade coupling structure comprising a set of blade electrical connectors (128). The blending device also includes a blender base assembly (104) having a base coupling structure, the base coupling structure comprising a plurality of base electrical connector coupler sets (130A-130C). Each base electrical connector coupler set corresponds with a coupling position of the blade coupling structure and the base coupling structure. The blade assembly and the blender base assembly are electrically coupled in a closed configuration in which the set of blade electrical connectors is in contact with one of the plurality of base electrical connector coupler sets. A method of manufacturing the blending device is also provided.

The cutter assembly includes a rotating shaft assembly, a forward-rotating blade and a counter-rotating blade. The rotating shaft assembly has a first mandrel and a first outer shaft. The end of the first mandrel and the end of the first outer shaft are each provided with a first transmission part coupled to a drive device; the blades are respectively arranged in the shaft assembly and perpendicular to the rotating shaft assembly; one blade is coupled to the first mandrel, and the other is coupled with the first outer shaft, so that the blades can be driven by the rotating shaft assembly to rotate in two opposite directions at the same time. The fruit and vegetable cutter includes a fruit and vegetable cavity, the cutter assembly and a driving device for driving the cutter assembly.

The platform includes at least one complementary locking platform element that is configured to engage the at least one locking bowl element such that rotation of the bowl assembly relative to the platform is prevented at times the bowl assembly is positioned thereon. The platform is rotatable from a first position to a second position relative to the housing such that the platform raises the bowl assembly towards the power shaft during the rotation of the bowl assembly and platform. The raising of the bowl assembly facilitates connection between the power shaft and a blade assembly that is positioned in a lid assembly on the bowl assembly.

The base component may include a rechargeable battery and a wireless charging interface. The charging control circuitry may be configured to make different types of detections related to the availability and/or usage of electrical power and related to the usage and alignment of the wireless charging interface with an external charging structure. The charging control circuitry may conduct electrical power to the rechargeable battery using at least two different charging modes, thus providing different amounts of electrical power to the rechargeable battery in different charging modes.

An immersion mixer includes: a housing; a drive motor residing within the housing; a shaft attached to the motor and configured to rotate relative to the housing; blades attached to and rotatable with the shaft; a handle attached to the housing, the handle including a first segment and a second segment attached to the first segment and to the housing; and a trigger attached to the handle and operatively associated with the motor. The trigger includes a first segment that is generally parallel with the first segment of the handle and a second segment that is generally parallel with the second segment of the handle. Engagement by a user of either the first segment of the trigger or the second segment of the trigger causes the drive motor to rotate the shaft and blades.

A blending device includes a motor, a motor controller, and a wireless controller configured to receive a wireless signal. The motor controller may be configured to alter the operations of the motor based the wireless signal. The wireless signal may include a blending program to be carried out by the blending device. The blending device may include one or more sensors configured to sense parameters of the blending device. The wireless signal may include information related to the sensed parameters. A blending device network may be formed by providing a second blending device having a wireless controller in communication with the first blending device wireless controller. The first and second blending devices may share information over the network.
