Three-component mixing apparatus and three-component mixing adhesive kit

A three-component mixing apparatus and a three-component mixing adhesive kit, which allow anyone to easily and uniformly mix three kinds of drugs in mixing a three-component adhesive used in, e.g., surgical procedure (or treatment) or dental procedure (or treatment), includes a syringe filled with a first drug; a plunger; and an infusion-needle connector having a connecting part for a second drug container and a connecting part for a third drug container and a confluent path formed on a base end part. The first drug, the second drug and the third drug are mixed in the syringe by removably attaching the infusion-needle connector to a discharge opening of the syringe, the second drug container to its connecting part and the third drug container to its connecting part and then pulling the plunger inserted into the syringe to introduce the second drug and the third drug into the syringe.

Hardenable dental compositions comprising basic core material encapsulated in an inorganic shell and dispensing devices therewith

A hardenable (e.g. dental) compositions is described comprising an encapsulated material. The encapsulated material comprises a basic core material and an inorganic shell material having certain viscosity criteria. Also described are dispensing devices and kits are described comprising a hardenable (e.g. dental) composition comprising a liquid material and an encapsulated material wherein the encapsulated material comprises a basic core material and an inorganic shell material comprising a metal oxide surrounding the core. The dispensing devices and kits can facilitate the methods of applying the hardenable composition. The hardenable or hardened (e.g. cured) composition can provide various technical effects such as a delayed release of a basic core material, a delayed increase in basicity, promoting remineralization of a tooth or bone structure, and increasing the average alkaline phosphatase (ALP) activity of pulp cells. In some embodiments, the composition is a dental (e.g. sealant) composition for application to a tooth structure.

Dynamic mixer head

A dynamic mixer head has a connecting cover, a rotor and a housing. The connecting cover has a rotor opening. The rotor has a first rotor axle mounted in the rotor opening and a mixing rotor connected with the first rotor axle. The mixing rotor has multiple vaned inner rotors with quarter-circle shaped multiple vanes and a vaned front rotor opposite to a second rotor axle of the mixing rotor with multiple vanes complementary to the multiple vanes of the multiple vaned inner rotors. The housing mounted to the connecting cover has at least two grooves disposed on the circular partition. Each of the at least two grooves has a spacer along each of the at least two grooves. The dynamic mixer head can enhance the mixing effect of two different component substances during rotation.

MIXING DEVICE
