Apparatus and method for providing asymmetric oscillations
Disclosed is an apparatus and method for providing asymmetric oscillations to a container. The container may include a fluid, a particle, and/or a gas. A vibration driver attached to the container provides asymmetric oscillations. A controller connected to the vibration driver controls an amplitude, frequency, and shape of the asymmetric oscillations. An amplifier amplifies the asymmetric oscillations in response to the controller. A sensor disposed on the vibration driver provides feedback to the controller.
TWO EDUCTOR / FOUR-WAY SELECTOR VALVE ASSEMBLY
A method of controlling the flow of different flow paths of fluid is provided. The method includes rotating a valve to a first position, receiving a first concentrate in the first position, discharging the first concentrate through one of two outlets, rotating the valve to a second position, receiving a second concentrate in the second position, and discharging the second concentrate through one of the two outlets.
FUNCTIONAL WATER PRODUCING APPARATUS AND FUNCTIONAL WATER PRODUCING METHOD
A functional water producing apparatus in an embodiment includes: a water pressure regulator configured to regulate the water pressure of the ultrapure water, the water pressure regulator having a pressure regulating valve configured to regulate a water pressure of the ultrapure water to an almost constant pressure and a feed water pump configured to pressurize the ultrapure water; a dissolving device configured to dissolve functional gas imparting a specific function in the ultrapure water regulated the water pressure by the water pressure regulator; and a control device configured to control the feed water pump to regulate the water pressure of the functional water to a predetermined constant pressure based on a water pressure or a flow rate of the functional water flowing out of the dissolving device.
CLEANING LIQUID
A cleaning liquid includes a static liquid (13), a second fine gas bubble group (26) contained in the static liquid (13) and formed by a gas at a first temperature, a dynamic liquid (22) that flows toward an object to be cleaned (W) that is held in the static liquid (13), and a second fine gas bubble group (26) formed by a gas at a second temperature different from the first temperature, the second fine gas bubble group (26) being entrapped by a flow of the dynamic liquid (22) and flowing toward the object to be cleaned (W). This makes it possible to provide a cleaning liquid that exhibits a cleaning effect remarkably better than ever before.
META-STABLE DETERGENT BASED FOAM CLEANING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR GAS TURBINE ENGINES
Embodiments in accordance with the present disclosure include a meta-stable detergent based foam generating device of a turbine cleaning system includes a manifold configured to receive a liquid detergent and an expansion gas, a gas supply source configured to store the expansion gas, and one or more aerators fluidly coupled with, and between, the gas supply source and the manifold. Each aerator of the one or more aerators comprises an orifice through which the expansion gas enters the manifold, and wherein the orifice of each aerator is sized to enable generation of a meta-stable detergent based foam having bubbles with bubble diameters within a range of 10 microns (3.910.sup.4 inches inches) and 5 millimeters (0.2 inches), having a half-life within a range of 5 minutes and 180 minutes, or a combination thereof.
Chemical mixing system and method
A chemical component mixing apparatus for use with a fluid source in creation of a concentrated solution mixture is described. The mixing apparatus includes at least one mixing station. The mixing station includes an injector assembly, where the injector assembly includes at least one venturi chamber having at least one suction port in fluid communication with the at least one venturi chamber. The apparatus also includes at least one super concentrate chemical component housed within a chemical container, where the chemical container is fluidly connected by a first tube to the at least one venturi chamber via the at least one suction port, a receiving container fluidly connected to the injector assembly via a second tube, and a fluid source inlet introducing a fluid into the at least one mixing station, where the pressure within the at least one mixing station is less than 150 psi. The fluid passes through the at least one venturi chamber, thereby drawing the at least one super concentrate chemical component into the venturi chamber, and the concentrated solution mixture is dispensed from the injector assembly into the receiving container.
Two eductor / four-way selector valve assembly
A selector valve assembly for use in conjunction with an eductor dispensing system which reduces the incidence of product carry-over when the valve is moved from one position to another. The selector valve assembly also reduces the incidence of improper dispensing. In a preferred manner, the selector valve assembly has a single valve member and accommodates four product inlet lines for selectively passing chemical concentrate to two eductors. The selector valve assembly is composed of a minimum of ports, thereby reducing maintenance and cost.
Foam generator insert
Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to foam generation and provide a novel and non-obvious insert for a foam generation apparatus. In an embodiment of the invention, an insert for a foam generator includes a cylindrical cage and a multiplicity of fins extending from an interior portion of the cage towards a longitudinal axis of the cage, and at an inclined angle relative to the axis. The insert further includes at least one pad contacting the interior portion of the cage in a volume defined by opposing sets of the fins and the interior portion of the cage.
