Mixer comprising cleaning nozzle
A mixer includes a mixing container having an outlet opening; a closure cover, which can be moved back and forth between a closed position, in which the closure cover closes the outlet opening, and an open position, in which the closure cover uncovers the outlet opening so that mixture can be removed from the mixing container via the outlet opening; at least one cleaning nozzle to clean the closure opening and/or a mixture outflow region arranged outside the mixing container; and a liquid feed to feed cleaning fluid to the at least one cleaning nozzle. To provide a mixer and a method for enabling cost-effective, efficient, simple and operationally reliable cleaning of the mixture outflow region and of the closure opening, at least one cleaning nozzle is fastened to the closure cover such that it is moved together with the closure cover.
Gypsum slurry application modifier
A gypsum slurry modifier device is provided for use with a gypsum mixer outlet boot having at least one tubular outlet leg, and includes a support bracket mountable to the outlet boot; at least one clamp member associated with the support bracket and constructed and arranged for engaging the at least one tubular outlet leg of the outlet boot. Each at least one clamp member is constructed and arranged for exerting a vertical compression force on the associated at least one tubular outlet leg for expanding a slurry outlet flow from the at least one leg laterally beyond an exterior surface of the leg.
MIXING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PREPARING MORTAR
A mixing apparatus for preparing mortar has a screw conveyor for conveying dry material, such as a mixture of sand and cement, from a storage vessel to a mixing chamber. The mixing chamber has an inlet end, adapted to receive dry material from an outlet end of the screw conveyor, an outlet end for dispensing wet mortar, and a water feed between the inlet and outlet ends for delivering a metered flow or quantity of water into the mixing chamber. A mixing device within the mixing chamber mixes the dry material and water and controls passage of material from the inlet to the outlet end. The outlet end is located above said inlet end so the dry material falls under gravity from the outlet end into the mixing chamber, maintaining separation between the dry material in the screw conveyor and the wet material in the mixing chamber.
Gypsum-based board material producing apparatus
Provided is a gypsum-based board producing apparatus including: a mixer configured to prepare a gypsum slurry; a foaming apparatus; and a pump configured to convey foam generated by the foaming apparatus to the mixer, wherein the pump is a positive displacement pump.
Concrete Compaction System with Feedback on Compaction State
A concrete compaction system includes an unbalance exciter for concrete compaction, a compaction detection device for detecting progress of the compaction in the concrete, and a vibration device for generating a haptic feedback when a prescribed progress of the compaction has been detected by the compaction detection device. An electric motor may drive the unbalance exciter and may be powered by an electric power supply and a converter device for converting an electric current from the electric power supply to a drive current for the electric motor. The compaction detection device may comprise a measurement device for measuring the current drawn from the electric motor. The compaction detection device may also comprise an evaluation device for evaluating the current drawn measured by the measurement device, for determining therefrom the progress of the compaction in the concrete, and for detecting whether a prescribed progress of the compaction has been achieved.
Compaction System with Determination of Compaction Progress
A compaction system has a compaction device with an electric motor for generating a compaction movement, an energy device for providing electric energy for the electric motor, a measurement device for measuring the current drawn by the electric motor, and an evaluation device for evaluating the current draw as measured by the measurement device and for determining, from this determination, the compaction progress in the medium being compacted. The evaluation device is arranged at least partly in an external device, spatially separate from the energy device and/or from the compaction device.
Vertical shaft high-shear mixer for de-agglomeration, and associated methods and systems
Disclosed is a deagglomeration apparatus, to improve the quality of a mixture used for the production of concrete blocks. An illustrative embodiment of the deagglomerator comprises a vertical shaft high-shear mixer, wherein a rotational force (hydraulic or electric) is mounted to a vertical shaft onto which are mounted chains and/or knives, housed within a flexible rubber boot or tube. The deagglomerator is configured to be controllably powered, to rotate the shaft and the attached tools. Partially mixed formula is introduced to a top region of the deagglomerator, and falls downwardly past the rotating tools wherein the formula is pulverized and mixed, before exiting the lower area of the mixing region.
Constrictor valve with webbing, cementitious slurry mixing and dispensing assembly, and method for making cementitious product
A constrictor valve can be associated with a conduit in fluid communication with a mixer to control a flow of cementitious slurry discharged from the mixer through the conduit. The constrictor valve can include a constrictor housing, a webbing constriction assembly, and a drive mechanism. The webbing constriction assembly includes a pair of rotatable members rotatably mounted to the constrictor housing and a plurality of webbing straps connected to the rotatable members and wrapped around the conduit. The drive mechanism includes a drive shaft and a gear assembly configured to rotate the rotatable members in opposing winding directions in response to the drive shaft rotating in a tighten direction to wrap the webbing straps tighter around the conduit to compress it and to rotate in opposing unwinding directions in response to the drive shaft rotating in a loosen direction to loosen the grip of the webbing straps on the conduit.
