A method and apparatus are disclosed for a mixing system with a recirculation pump and a sensor configured to measure a property of a fluid discharged from the recirculation pump, wherein the sensor may transmit the property to a control system to allow an operator to adjust the mixing system in response to changes in the measurement signal.

Airborne dust mitigation system

A system for use with a gunite rig to capture airborne gunite type materials, particularly those containing silica, during the preparation of the gunite. In one respect, as the bags of silica-containing material are placed in the mixing section of the gunite rig and ripped open, airborne gunite dust is captured by a hood and suction system positioned above the mixer. Further, the mitigation system includes a plenum box and suction system positioned adjacent the mouth of a gunite pot to capture gunite dust generated as the mixed gunite material falls from a hopper into the gunite pot.

MOBILE MIXING DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND RELATED METHODS

Mobile mixing devices, mobile mixing systems, and related methods are provided. A mobile mixing device can include a frame and a mixing drum securable to the frame. The mixing drum can include a body that forms an internal cavity and can have a forward end and a bottom end. The mixing drum can also include a mouth at the forward end of the body that provides access to the internal cavity of the mixing drum. The mobile mixing device can include a heater support arm having a heater secured to an end of the heater support arm that is distal from the mixing drum. The mixing drum can be used to process cement material when the heater support arm is in a stow-away position or used to process asphalt when the heater support arm is in a heating position with the heater facing into the mouth of the mixing drum after loading of the asphalt.

A material sprayer includes a hopper and a shaker assembly mounted onto a sidewall of the hopper. The hopper includes at least one sidewall that extends along a first plane. The shaker assembly includes a resilient bracket, an electromagnetic coil, and an armature. The resilient bracket is mounted to the sidewall of the hopper and includes first and second ends and a curved portion. The electromagnetic coil is mounted to a portion of the resilient bracket and is configured to generate a magnetic field in response to a current from a power source. The armature is mounted to a portion of the resilient bracket such that the armature is able to move relative to the electromagnetic coil along an acceleration axis that is orthogonal to the first plane of the sidewall of the hopper.

A sealed disposable concrete vibrator assembly includes a hollow cylindrical main housing enclosing a shaft having an eccentric mid portion sized to rotate therewithin. Sealed bearings supporting the shaft are encased within an adaptor housing and a tip cover attached concentrically to proximal and distal ends, respectively, of the main housing. Outer surfaces of the adaptor housing and tip cover protrude into the main housing for frictional engagement therewith, while inner surfaces thereof provide channels to encase the bearings. An oil seal compressed against a flange integral to the adaptor housing prevents intrusion of contaminants. A circumvolving adaptor is coupled through the oil seal to the driven end of the shaft. The assembly may be hermetically sealed by permanent attachment of the adaptor housing and tip assembly to the main housing.
