Aeration diffuser for pressurized liquid treatment module and method of operating same
An aeration diffuser (12) for a pressurized liquid treatment module includes a base having a gas passageway (32) and a liquid passageway (50) fluidically separated from the gas passageway. Liquid is injectable into the liquid passageway of the base of the diffuser. Liquid flows through the base of the diffuser and into the module to be filtered by filtration membrane(s) within the module. Gas is injectable into the gas passageway of the base of the diffuser. Gas flowes through the base of the diffuser separately from the liquid to aerate the filtration membrane(s) within the module. Further a module including one or more diffusers and a method of filtration is disclosed.
Aeration nozzle, and blockage removal method for said aeration nozzle
An aeration nozzle is provided, having on one end an air supply port (16a) connected to an aeration pump (13) and a waste water suction port (17) for suctioning waste water in a processing tank (3, 4), and having a micro-bubble generation unit (18), provided facing the air supply port, for mixing air supplied by the air supply port and waste water suctioned from the waste water suction port and generating micro-bubbles (9), wherein a plurality of blades of cylindrical micro-bubble generators (19) included in the micro-bubble generation unit (18) is configured such that tip ends of the blades are formed so as to face one another around the center of the cylindrical micro-bubble generators (19a, 19b); and by being formed from an elastic member (such as rubber), the tip ends of the blades are configured so as to bend with the base ends as starting points.
BALLAST WATER TREATMENT DEVICE
A ballast water treatment system includes: a chemical agent container for containing a chemical agent for a ballast water treatment; a chemical liquid preparation tank having a tank main body for containing the chemical agent supplied from the chemical agent container and water for dissolving the chemical agent, and a mixture part for mixing the chemical agent with the water in the tank main body; a chemical liquid storage tank for storing the chemical liquid obtained by dissolving the chemical agent in the water in the chemical liquid preparation tank; and a chemical liquid supply part for supplying the chemical liquid stored in the chemical liquid storage tank into ballast water.
Refreshing device
Provided is a refreshing device including a fan mounted onto a base. The base includes a main container for storing a fluid, a mini fan, and a nebulizer to set in motion the fluid nebulized outside of the main container toward a diffuser positioned downstream from the fan. The diffuser includes an outlet opening having a substantially annular shape, the outlet surface of the outlet opening being substantially perpendicular to the direction of airflow generated by the fan.
CHEMISTRY DISPENSING ASSEMBLY FOR A LAUNDRY APPLIANCE
A chemistry dispensing assembly for a laundry appliance includes a reservoir that dispenses a laundry chemistry to a treatment chamber. A mixing channel is positioned below the reservoir that receives the laundry chemistry dispensed from the reservoir. A fluid assembly delivers a fluid carrier through a flow path that includes the mixing channel. The mixing channel is defined between an underside of the reservoir and an upper surface of the mixing channel.
ULTRAFINE BUBBLE GENERATING APPARATUS, ULTRAFINE BUBBLE GENERATING METHOD, ULTRAFINE BUBBLE-CONTAINING LIQUID, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Provided is a UFB generating apparatus that is capable of efficiently generating a UFB-containing liquid with high purity by controlling generation of UFBs in the liquid. A UFB generating apparatus includes a driving unit that drives a heating element included in a heating unit to generate film boiling in the liquid in contact with the heating element, and a control unit that controls driving conditions of the heating element by the driving unit.
GAS-LIQUID MIXING DEVICE
The device is a gas-liquid mixing device having a venturi structure in which a throat portion and an enlarged diameter portion are provided in a main passage through which a liquid passes, the gas-liquid mixing device including a collision chamber provided on an outer periphery of the enlarged diameter portion, and a stirring chamber provided downstream of the enlarged diameter portion. A collision flow path communicating with the collision chamber and causing a gas-liquid to collide with an outer peripheral wall, a straight flow path through which the gas-liquid passing through a central portion of the enlarged diameter portion travels straight, and an outer ring flow path through which the gas-liquid flows from the collision chamber to the stirring chamber are formed downstream of the enlarged diameter portion. The gas-liquids from the outer ring flow path and the straight flow path are stirred in the stirring chamber.
Automatic calcium reactor
An automatic calcium reactor preferably includes a reactor body, a carbon dioxide separator, a salt water pump, a recycling venturi and an electronic controller. The reactor body includes a lower chamber and an upper chamber. A source of calcium is placed in the upper chamber. The carbon dioxide separator is suspended near a top of the upper chamber. A salt water outlet is formed through a side wall of the reactor body. Salt water from the aquarium and salt water from the reactor body are fed into the salt water pump. A recycling venturi includes a salt water inlet, a carbon dioxide inlet and an outlet, which is connected to the lower chamber. A float switch is retained near a top of the upper chamber. Rising salt water inside the upper chamber trips the float switch and opens the carbon dioxide valve through the electronic controller.
Minute bubble generator, home appliance provided with minute bubble generator, and method of manufacturing minute bubble generator
A minute bubble generator includes a flow path member including a flow path allowing a liquid to pass therethrough; and a colliding part provided in the flow path and generating minute bubbles in the liquid passing through the flow path by locally reducing a cross sectional area of the flow path. The colliding part is formed integrally with the flow path member and is provided closer to an upstream end or a downstream end relative to a lengthwise center of the flow path.
