A static mixer for desalting a fluid is disclosed. A static mixer can include a housing, a reduction cone disposed concentrically within the housing; and an expansion cone disposed concentrically within the housing; wherein the static mixer is configured to direct fluid flow through the reduction cone onto the expansion cone, thereby mixing the fluid.

The present disclosure relates to a device and method for continuous mixing of a solid drag reducer. The device for continuous mixing of a solid drag reducer comprises a raw material storage device (1), a pneumatic raw material delivery device (2), a power device (3), a flow testing device (4) and a dissolving device (5). The method for continuous mixing of a solid drag reducer uses the device for continuous mixing of a solid drag reducer, which can realize continuous mixing of the solid drag reducer during large-scale volume fracturing.

The present disclosure includes embodiments of a recirculation system and methods for mitigating release of silica dust at a hydrocarbon well site. The embodiments of the recirculation system may include a blender hopper, one or more proppant silos, a footed hood, a conveyor, one or more amplifiers, one or more compressed air sources, one or more vacuum hoses, an augur, and a blender. In one or more embodiments, the methods of recirculating silica dust to mitigate the release of silica dust includes conveying sand proppant on a conveyor from the one or more proppant silos to a blender hopper, directing sand proppant from the conveyor into the blender hopper, supplying compressed air to one or more amplifiers, directing sand proppant from the blender hopper to a blender via an augur, and adjusting the extent of at least one of the two or more leg segments and the leg adjustment arrangement.

A fracturing apparatus and a fracturing system are provided. The fracturing apparatus includes: a plunger pump configured to pressurize a fracturing fluid to form a high-pressure fracturing fluid; a turbine engine coupled to the plunger pump and configured to provide a driving force to the plunger pump; an auxiliary unit including a driving electric motor, the auxiliary unit being configured to provide the fracturing apparatus with at least one selected from the group consisting of start-up assist function, lubrication function, cooling function, and air supply function; and a power supply electrically coupled to the driving electric motor of the auxiliary unit to provide driving power.

The application is directed to a system and method for mixing fluid and dry material to produce fluid mixture compositions. The system may be provided on a portable platform for transport of the system for use at different locations or the system may be provided as a permanent installation. Natural gas can be used to drive a turbine generator in the production of electrical power.
