METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING EXCREMENT TREATMENT MATERIAL
20190351384 · 2019-11-21 · ·

A manufacturing apparatus includes a granulation machine. The granulation machine forms granules by performing extrusion granulation on a granulation material. The granulation machine includes a die. In the die, a die hole that allows the granulation material to pass therethrough is formed. An outlet opening surface of the die hole has a polygonal shape.

EXCREMENT TREATMENT MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

An excrement treatment material includes a plurality of granules that absorb excrement. Each granule includes a granular core portion, and a coating portion. The core portion has a circular cross-section, and has a function of absorbing and retaining the excrement. The coating portion coats the core portion. The coating portion has a function of causing the plurality of granules, which have absorbed the excrement, to adhere to each other. In a cross-section of each granule that is in the same plane as the cross-section of the core portion, a thickness of the coating portion on one side of the core portion is smaller than a thickness of the coating portion on another side of the core portion.

Resin coated proppant particle and method of making the same

A particle with an environmentally friendly resin coating having very low levels of leachable compounds is disclosed. The water leachable phenolic content of the coated particle is low enough to eliminate problems with leaching of phenol or its derivatives into an aquifer during downhole applications. Processes for fully and partially coating the particle with the resin coating are also disclosed.

Spray drying

A method of preparing dry core-shell microcapsules from an aqueous dispersion of such capsules, comprising spraying the dispersion through a two-fluid air-liquid nozzle into a heated chamber having an upper part and a lower part, the spraying taking place in the upper part and the lower part being provided with a means of continuous capsule removal. The method allows the drying of capsules with considerably reduced losses.

Urea granules comprising lignosulfonate coating

A process of granulation of a urea melt, comprising: adding a first additive containing carboxymethyl starch to one or more first stage(s) of the granulation process, to form a carcarboxymethyl starch containing inner layer of urea granules, and adding a second additive containing calcium lignosulfonate to one or more second stage(s) of the granulation process, downstream said first stages, to form granules with a coating containing calcium lignosulfonate.

PITCH GRANULES WHICH ARE SOLID AT ROOM TEMPERATURE
20190241813 · 2019-08-08 · ·

Pitch granules including a core made up of a first composition including at least one pitch, the composition having a penetrability at 25? C. of 0 to 45 1/10 mm, a ring-and-ball softening temperature (TBA) of 55? C. to 175? C., understanding the penetrability as measured according to standard EN 1426 and the TBA as measured according to standard EN 1427, and a layer encapsulating at least one portion of the surface of the core, the layer being made up of a coating composition including at least one anti-caking agent.

Group III-V/Zinc chalcogenide alloyed semiconductor quantum dots

A scalable method for the manufacture of narrow, bright, monodisperse, photo-luminescent quantum dots prepared in the presence of a Group II-VI molecular seeding cluster fabricated in situ from a zinc salt and a thiol or selenol compound. Exemplary quantum dots have a core containing indium, phosphorus, zinc and either sulfur or selenium.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING EXCREMENT TREATMENT MATERIAL

The manufacturing method includes a granulation step. The granulation step is a step of forming a plurality of granules by performing extrusion granulation on a granulation material using a granulation machine. The granulation machine includes a die and a roller. A through hole that allows the granulation material to pass therethrough is formed in the die. The roller pushes the granulation material into the through hole while rolling on the surface of the die. In the granulation step, low-speed pushing in which the granulation material is pushed while the roller rolls at a first speed, and high-speed pushing in which the granulation material is pushed while the roller rolls at a second speed that is higher than the first speed are executed.
