Systems and methods for dispersion of dry powders
Systems and methods for preparing and dispersing dry powders are disclosed herein. The system includes a powder feeder, a rotating holder or disc configured to receive an input powder from the powder feeder, and one or more ultrasonic transducers. The ultrasonic transducer is configured to create standing waves, which suspend the input powder within a space above the rotating holder disc for collection and subsequent processing and/or use. Also disclosed herein is an adapter configured to fit existing off-the-shelf powder dispensers that includes an ultrasonic transducer configured to suspend an input powder in midair for collection.

Apparatus and method for the production of solid dosage forms
An apparatus for the production of solid dosage forms is presented, wherein the apparatus comprises a material processing chamber which is operable for manufacturing a product according to a pre-set product formation process path. The apparatus has at least one sensor for continuously monitoring formation of the product in the material processing chamber during the product formation process non-invasively in real time by sensing at least one product functional attribute value and a means for comparing each sensed product functional attribute value with a desirable product functional attribute value for that point on the product formation process path. A controller controls operation of the material processing chamber in response to the sensed product functional attribute value for maintaining the product on the product formation process path.
Apparatus and method for the production of solid dosage forms
An apparatus for the production of solid dosage forms is presented, wherein the apparatus comprises a material processing chamber which is operable for manufacturing a product according to a pre-set product formation process path. The apparatus has at least one sensor for continuously monitoring formation of the product in the material processing chamber during the product formation process non-invasively in real time by sensing at least one product functional attribute value and a means for comparing each sensed product functional attribute value with a desirable product functional attribute value for that point on the product formation process path. UREA GRANULATION PROCESS
A process of granulation of a urea melt, comprising: adding a first additive containing carboxymethyl starch to one or more first stage(s) of the granulation process, to form a carcarboxymethyl starch containing inner layer of urea granules, and adding a second additive containing calcium lignosulfonate to one or more second stage(s) of the granulation process, downstream said first stages, to form granules with a coating containing calcium lignosulfonate.

A fluid-bed granulator system for producing fertilizer granules with a defined size including a fluid-bed granulator, a first cooler externally connected with the fluid-bed granulator or forming an internal part of the fluid-bed granulator, and a product screen connected with the first cooler. The product screen includes an exit for on-size particles; an exit for oversized particles and an exit for undersized particles. The exit for undersized particles is connected to the fluid-bed granulator and the exit for oversized particles is connected to the fluid-bed granulator via one or more crushers. The exit for on-size particles is connected to a first splitter. The first splitter is connected to the fluid-bed granulator and a post processing unit. A particle size analyzer is located between the fluid-bed granulator and the product screen.

Inflow base for a fluidizing apparatus
An inflow base which is permeable to process air and includes openings for the process air which flows thought the inflow base. The inflow base is arranged in the fluidizing apparatus in a manner rotatable about an axis Z of the fluidizing apparatus and subdivides this into a distribution chamber and into a vortex chamber. The inflow base of the fluidizing apparatus includes at least a first and a second inflow base plate, wherein one of the inflow base plates at its outer end includes or forms a sealing element.
Inflow base for a fluidizing apparatus
An inflow base which is permeable to process air and includes openings for the process air which flows thought the inflow base. The inflow base is arranged in the fluidizing apparatus in a manner rotatable about an axis Z of the fluidizing apparatus and subdivides this into a distribution chamber and into a vortex chamber. The inflow base of the fluidizing apparatus includes at least a first and a second inflow base plate, wherein one of the inflow base plates at its outer end includes or forms a sealing element.
