Extruding nozzle, system, and method therefor
A method for pelletizing an extruded material with an extruding nozzle includes inserting the extruded material into the extruding nozzle so that the extruded material flows through at least one material-flow channel, extending through a radiator of the extruding nozzle. Heat is transferred between the extruded material, flowing through the at least one material-flow channel, and the radiator. At least a portion of the radiator is located within a housing of the extruding nozzle.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING AND TRANSPORTING DRY ICE PELLETS
A device for producing dry ice pellets comprises a pressing cylinder, into which an inlet opening for feeding liquid carbon dioxide leads and which is equipped with a die, which has one or more openings, and with a piston, which is longitudinally movable in the pressing cylinder. Liquid carbon dioxide is fed to the pressing cylinder, is expanded at the inlet opening, is at least partially converted into carbon dioxide snow and is pressed against and through the die by the movement of the piston. The die is in the form of a cylindrical body that can be connected to the pressing cylinder and is equipped with feed-throughs, which are oriented parallel to a longitudinal axis of the die and are dimensioned in such a way that the length and the diameters of the feed-throughs correspond to the length and the diameters of the dry ice pellets to be produced.

GRANULATOR DEVICE WITH MAGNETIC COUPLING
Apparatus for cutting off extrudate produced with an extruder having a die with at least one opening includes a knife which is mounted rotatably about an axis of rotation and which can be driven by a drive, in particular an electric motor, in that a torque is transmitted from the drive to the knife. A bearing element is provided which can be rigidly connected to the extruder and via which the knife can be rotatably connected to the extruder around the axis of rotation, whereby the drive can be placed separately from the bearing element and a magnetic coupling is provided between the bearing element and the drive in order to transmit the torque from the drive to the knife via magnetic forces.
Shaped abrasive particles and method of forming same
An abrasive particle including a shaped abrasive particle including a body having a plurality of abrasive particles bonded to at least one surface of the body of the shaped abrasive particle.

UNDERWATER GRANULATION SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR GRANULATING A POLYMER MELT
An underwater granulation system has a water box, a perforated plate with multiple through-openings for feeding a polymer melt into the water box, and a cutting plate support which is arranged in the water box so as to be driven in rotation about an axis of rotation (X) in a cutting direction. The cutting plate support has multiple cutting plates which face the perforated plate and are adapted to form granules by shearing particles from the polymer melt entering through the perforated plate. The water box is connected to a water supply for heat evacuation and for evacuating the separated particles from the water box. The water box also has a hollow cylindrical portion relative to the axis of rotation (X), in which multiple water inlets distributed over the circumference and multiple water outlets distributed over the circumference are arranged.
Thermoplastic Polymer Particles and Method for Manufacturing Same
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing thermoplastic polymer particles, and the thermoplastic polymer particles, the method comprising the steps of: (1) extruding a thermoplastic polymer resin through an extruder; (2) spraying the extruded thermoplastic polymer resin through a nozzle and then spraying a gas to the sprayed thermoplastic polymer resin through a plurality of sprayers so as to granulate same; and (3) cooling the granulated thermoplastic polymer resin.
Composition of Biodegradable Plant Fiber Raw Material Grains, and Production Method Thereof
Raw material grains according to the present invention comprise, as components, 40 to 60% plant fiber powder, 20 to 30% starch, 10 to 20% vegetable gum powder obtained by fermenting starch, 2 to 15% water-soluble polymer glue, and 1 to 10% water-soluble cellulose derivative. The production process thereof primarily includes: a step of appropriately adjusting blending ratios in accordance with the production method, rotating and kneading for 10-40 minutes the fiber powder, starch, and vegetable gum powder, each in a separate kneader, and then batch stirring and kneading all of the blending components in a fourth kneader to thereby obtain a raw material; and a step of subsequently molding the mixed raw material into a plurality of strands in a molding device, cutting the strands into granular raw material grains via a cutting unit, cooling the raw material grains, and then packaging a raw material grain product.
