Extended release formulation
The present invention provides an extended release insecticide formulation, the formulation comprising: an insecticide on a substrate; a lipophilic wax, wherein the insecticide is incorporated into the wax forming a matrix; a release retarding polymer embedded in the matrix; and a rate extending polymer embedded in the matrix. Methods of making the formulation and use of the formulation are also provided.
PARTICULATE NUCLEATING AGENT AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
The present invention provides a particulate nucleating agent and a method for manufacturing the same. The particulate nucleating agent has an average radial crushing strength of 0.2-25.0N/cm. A weight content of the active ingredients in the particulate nucleating agent is no less than 90 wt %. The particulate nucleating agent is a transparent particulate nucleating agent. The particulate nucleating agent of the present invention can be fed smoothly during production without the change of the chemical composition thereof, so as to realize uniform dispersion in the polymer and reduce defects such as white dots in the polymer. The present invention breaks the traditional view of refining particles of nucleating agent to obtain a polymer having desirable properties, and avoids adding large amount of materials except the active ingredients during the granulation process of the nucleating agent.

Method for preparing a sorbent
A method is described for preparing a sorbent including the steps of: (i) mixing together a particulate copper sulphide material, a particulate support material and one or more binders, (ii) shaping the mixture, and (iii) drying the shaped mixture to form a dried sorbent.

Biochar Aggregate Particles
Biochar aggregate particles are provided that are less than 5 mm and are comprised of biochar fines that are less than 1 mm and a binding agent. The binding agent may be clay, starch, a lignin, a polymer and/or a lipid. The biochar aggregate particles may also include additives and/or surfactants. The biochar fines may further be treated with a surfactant solution, a vacuum, ultrasonics or infused with any number of additives.

Method for Producing Biochar Aggregate Particles
A method for producing biochar aggregate particles that comprising the steps of (i) collecting or producing treated biochar fines less than 1 mm, (ii) adding a binding agent to the fines, (iii) forming the fines and binding agent into solid aggregate particles. The steps may further include, for example, adding additives to the fines, drying the solid aggregate particles, activing the binder after forming the solid aggregate particles with heat or cold temperatures and/or treating the biochar fines prior to forming the aggregate particles.

GLUTATHIONE-CONTAINING GRANULAR FERTILIZER
A glutathione-containing granular fertilizer includes glutathione, a mineral substance, and starch. The starch may be in an amount of 12% by mass or more with respect to the total amount of the granular fertilizer. The starch may have a water content of 5 to 30% by weight, and may be pregelatinized starch.
