SELF-STABLIZING SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR LONG TABLE
An integral system for stabilizing a long table on an uneven surface. One version includes two spaced supports with each of the supports comprising a vertical member. One horizontal platform attaches to an upper portion of one of the supports and an underside of the table top and a second horizontal platform affixed to a post and attached to the underside of the table top. The post is insertable into the vertical member of the other support and movably joined at a first end thereto such that the post may move side-to-side, in a rocking manner relative to the vertical member stabilizing the table. Another version includes a table having two spaced supports each with a horizontal member and a stabilizing member configured to slip over one horizontal member and movably connect thereto. When attached, the stabilizing member may rock about the connection point with the horizontal member.
COLLAPSIBLE COMPUTER WORKSTATION
A collapsible computer workstation includes a frame, a table top, a plurality of legs, computer electronics, a cavity adapted for enclosing the computer electronics, and a display. The workstation includes a first open configuration in which the workstation stands upright on the legs and the display is positioned substantially perpendicular to the table top, and a second collapsed configuration in which the legs and display are folded into the table top. The collapsed configuration allows multiple computer workstations to be stacked or racked for transportation and storage. Computer workstations may be detachably coupled together to form a straight or arcuate row. Arcuate rows are particularly useful for stadium seating. Each of the computer workstations can include a built-in computer and display.
IMPROVED TABLE AND TABLE CONNECTOR SYSTEM
A table top utilising an anchor affixed to the said table top and at least one leg to support the table top above a ground surface. The anchor is adapted to engage with the leg via a pivoting joint, such that the leg can pivot between an active position where leg is presented to engage with the ground to support the table top above the ground, and a stowed position wherein the leg is disposed to extend substantially adjacent (preferably parallel) to the lower surface of said table top. The leg is releasably retained in the stowed position by the interaction of a catch and receiver at a location distal from the pivoting joint.
Integrated foldable table and bench assembly
A table and bench assembly that is configurable between a first position and a second position. In the first position the table and bench assembly is configured to provide a seating arrangement for a user. In the second position the table and bench assembly is configured to provide a combined seating and table arrangement for the user. A seating support member and tabletop support member are provided. A frame is further included wherein the frame further includes a pair of first leg members and a pair of second leg members. A seat brace member is provided and provides support for the seating support member. A seat member leg assembly includes a first portion and a second portion and is pivotally coupled to the seat brace member. The tabletop support member includes a plurality of longitudinal support members that further include at least one notch operable to engage a clamping member.
ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT TABLE
A table having a table top having an upper surface and a lower surface. The table further having a first and second guide track located on the lower surface. A first leg is pivotally connected to a second leg, the first leg comprising a first slide adapted to slidably engage the first guide track, and the second leg comprising a second slide adapted to slidably engage the second guide track. The table further includes a first retainer adapted to engage the first slide and the first guide track to prevent sliding of the first slide with respect to the first guide track, and a second retainer adapted to engage the second slide and the second guide track to prevent sliding of the second slide with respect to the second guide track. The table may be an adjustable height table. Other features of the table are also described.
Table Connection Mechanism and Method of Using the Same
A table arrangement includes connection mechanisms for inter-connection of height adjustable tabletops so that the tabletops are independently moveable in a stable way. Embodiments of the table arrangement can be configured so that different height adjustable tabletops can be arranged to accommodate different users' preferences. Some embodiments of the table arrangement can utilize at least one cross-member connection mechanism connected to at least one column connection mechanisms 20.
WORKSTATION WITH CABLE CONTAINMENT
A work station includes a cable raceway. The cable raceway includes a basket in an interior of a base assembly, having an open upper end adjacent an access opening, and a bottom end defining openings, the basket configured to receive cables therein. A cover of the cable raceway is movable between a closed position, in which the cover is received in the access opening and covers the open upper end of the basket to inhibit access to the basket through the access opening, and an open position, in which the cover is at least partially outside the access opening to allow access to the basket through the access opening. The work station may have a work platform that is selectively adjustable in height. A portion of a footprint of the work platform may be commensurate with a corresponding portion of a footprint of the base assembly.
Student smart desk and impromptu shielding system
A smart desk and barricade provide ad-hoc protection during emergencies and an augmented presentation environment. A first desk tabletop includes a connection positioned on an underside of the first desk tabletop, that is configured for detachable coupling to a desk frame. Removal of the tabletop from the desk frame provides a shield. An interlocking element is positioned on one or more edges of the first desk tabletop. The interlocking element is configured to temporarily connect to an edge of a second desk tabletop. A temporary attachment of the first desk tabletop to the second desk tabletop forms a barricade system. In some embodiments, a computing device is integrated into the desk tabletop. A smart room environment may network the desk with integrated computing device to other computing devices in the room.
Modular Fabrication Table
Existing fabrication tables are often expensive, immobile, unsafe, and difficult to work with. This invention comprises a modular fabrication table, which is rapidly adaptable to expand over a large surface area, add perpendicular work surfaces, and integrate existing peripheral components that can be purchased at a store. This allows fabrication prototypers to have relatively inexpensive, mobile, sturdy, square, and level tables within which to configure structures for the production of fabrication work pieces.
Table system
A workplace system has at least two workplace pieces of furniture that make a work surface available. The workpieces of the furniture are connected to one another by a rotary movable connection. The rotary movable connection runs along a floor. Each workpiece of the furniture has a V-shaped foot with two foot sections oriented at an angle relative to one another. The feet are arranged adjacent to a lower end of a standing leg.
