PROCESSES FOR INCREASING BIOALCOHOL YIELD FROM BIOMASS

A process for increasing alcohol yield from biomass (the form or agro- or forest residue, grains, hops, etc.), involving multiple hydrodynamic cavitation treatments of biomass filtrateboth before and after fermentation. Carbohydrates extracted from biomass are subjected to a first cavitation treatment to promote additional conversion into carbohydrates. The carbohydrates are then combined with bacterial species and nutrients, and allowed to ferment. The fermentation product is subjected to a second hydrodynamic cavitation treatment to promote further conversion of carbohydrates into bioalcohol. After distillation, the bioalcohol is subjected to a second hydrodynamic cavitation treatment to increase its purity.

Two-stage cavitation generator for organic wastewater treatment

The present disclosure provides a two-stage cavitation generator for organic wastewater treatment, including a shrouded impeller, a stator, and a rotor. The shrouded impeller includes a front cover plate, blades, and a rear cover plate. Several blades are evenly distributed between the front cover plate and the rear cover plate. A working surface of the blade is an arc surface, and a back of the blade protrudes locally, so that a flow channel between the back of the blade and a working surface of its adjacent blade is narrowed locally, forming a throat structure. An outlet of the shrouded impeller is provided with the stator and the rotor, and the stator is located at an outer edge of the front cover plate and fixed on an inner wall of a volute. The rotor is mounted on the rear cover plate.

Treated Oils Having Reduced Densities and Viscosities

A treated oil, such as a treated heavy oil, which has a viscosity which is lower than the viscosity of the oil prior to the treatment thereof (i.e., the initial oil). The temperature at which 80 mass % of the treated oil has boiled is within 25 C. of temperature at which 80 mass % of the oil prior to the treatment thereof has boiled. Thus, the treated oil and the oil prior to the treatment thereof, have distillation curves or boiling point curves which are the same as or approximate to each other.

A cavitation reactor having a pulse valve for receiving an input fluid flow and generating a pulsed output flow that is provided to the input of a resonance chamber, such as a tube. The pulse valve uses a shaft with a number of regularly spaced lands to form fluid conduits between an input port and the output port connected to the resonance tube to cause fluid communication between the input and output ports to be regularly opened and closed, thereby producing a pulsed output that drives the formation of resonance waves in the resonance chamber. The shaft is rotated at a suitable frequency to produce cavitation bubbles that collapse in the resonance chamber without damaging the valve shaft.

COMPLEXES OF CALCIUM CARBONATE MICROPARTICLES AND FIBERS AS WELL AS PROCESSES FOR PREPARING THEM

The present invention aims to provide techniques for preparing complexes of calcium carbonate particles having an average primary particle size of less than 1 m and a fiber.

Complexes of calcium carbonate microparticles having an average primary particle size of less than 1 m and a fiber can be synthesized efficiently by synthesizing calcium carbonate in a solution bearing the fiber while injecting a liquid into a reaction vessel.

Organic or organo-mineral fertilizers, method of producing thereof and production unit therefor

An apparatus for producing an organic or organo-mineral fertilizer includes a main tank receiving water, a reactor providing cavitation and magnetic field for activating water or for treating a biological suspension, a mixing tank containing a preliminary shredder, an injector receiving and saturating the suspension with air, a fermenter receiving the obtained mixture and creating a volumetric liquid-air flow passed therethrough and fermented by biological humus. The suspension is filtered and passed into a clearing tank. At predetermined conditions, the apparatus carries out a method encompassing a preliminary treatment of water in a looped circuit by connecting the main tank with the reactor via a pump. The activated water is supplied to the mixing tank added with preliminary shredded humus. The circuit is reconnected to further treat the suspension, finally shred its particles, supply it to the fermenter, additionally mix it with humus, filter it and thereby obtain the fertilizer.
