Method for producing monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons
Method for producing monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons includes a cracking and reforming reaction step of obtaining products containing monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons having 6 to 8 carbon atoms and a heavy fraction having 9 or more carbon atoms by bringing the feedstock oil into contact with a catalyst for producing monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons containing crystalline aluminosilicate to cause a reaction, a catalyst separation step of separating and removing the catalyst for producing monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons together with tricyclic aromatic hydrocarbons contained in the products from a mixture of the products and a small amount of the catalyst for producing monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons carried by the products, both of which are derived in the cracking and reforming reaction step, and a purification and recovery step of purifying and recovering the monocyclic aromatic hydrocarbons having 6 to 8 carbon atoms which are separated from the products formed in the cracking and reforming reaction step.
MIXED METAL LARGE CRYSTAL MOLECULAR SIEVE CATALYST COMPOSITIONS, CATALYTIC ARTICLES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Described are compositions and catalytic articles comprising both a first molecular sieve promoted with copper and a second molecular sieve promoted with iron, the first and second molecular sieves having a d6r unit and the first molecular sieves having cubic shaped crystals with an average crystal size of about 0.5 to about 2 microns. The weight ratio of the copper-promoted molecular sieve to the iron-promoted molecular sieve can be about 1:1 to about 4:1. The catalytic articles are useful in methods and systems to catalyze the reduction of nitrogen oxides in the presence of a reductant.
Delamination of borosilicate layered zeolite
Provided is a surfactant-free, single-step synthesis of delaminated aluminosilicate zeolites. The process comprises the step of heating a borosilicate zeolite precursor in a metal salt solution, e.g., an aluminum nitrate solution, zinc nitrate solution or manganese nitrate solution. The delaminated aluminosilicate zeolite product is then recovered from the solution.

Methods for producing crystalline microporous solids with IWV topology and compositions derived from the same
This disclosure relates to new crystalline microporous solids (including silicate- and aluminosilicate-based solids), the compositions comprising 8 and 10 membered inorganic rings, particularly those having IWV topologies having a range of Si:Al ratios, methods of preparing these and known crystalline microporous solids using certain quaternized imidazolium cation templates.
ZEOLITE CATALYSTS, METHODS FOR PRODUCING ZEOLITE CATALYSTS, AND METHODS FOR PRODUCING LOWER OLEFINS
Provided are zeolite catalysts that allow reactions to proceed at temperatures as low as possible when lower olefins are produced from hydrocarbon feedstocks with low boiling points such as light naphtha, make it possible to make propylene yield higher than ethylene yield in the production of lower olefins, and have long lifetime. The zeolite catalysts are used in the production of lower olefins from hydrocarbon feedstocks with low boiling points such as light naphtha. The zeolite catalysts are MFI-type crystalline aluminosilicates containing iron atoms and have molar ratios of iron atoms to total moles of iron atoms and aluminum atoms in the range from 0.4 to 0.7. The use of the zeolite catalysts make it possible to increase propylene yield, to lower reaction temperatures, and to extend catalyst lifetime.
COMPOSITE CATALYST, METHOD FOR PRODUCING COMPOSITE CATALYST, METHOD FOR PRODUCING LOWER OLEFIN AND METHOD FOR REGENERATING COMPOSITE CATALYST
A lower olefin by using a zeolite catalyst, a composite catalyst capable of further extending the lifetime of catalytic activity, a method for producing the composite catalyst, a method for producing a lower olefin by using the composite catalyst, and a method for regenerating a composite catalyst in the method for producing a lower olefin are provided. The composite catalyst is a catalyst for producing a lower olefin from a hydrocarbon feedstock. This composite catalyst is constituted of a zeolite being a crystalline aluminosilicate containing gallium and iron or iron and further having a framework with 8- to 12-membered ring, and of silicon dioxide. By using the composite catalyst, a lower olefin can be continuously produced over a long period of time.
HIGH CHARGE DENSITY SILICOMETALLOPHOSPHATE MOLECULAR SIEVES SAPO-69
A new family of crystalline microporous silicometallophosphate designated SAPO-69 has been synthesized. These silicometallophosphate are represented by the empirical formula of:
R.sup.p+.sub.rM.sub.m.sup.+E.sub.xPSi.sub.yO.sub.z
where M is an alkali metal such as potassium, R is an organoammonium cation such as ethyltrimethylammonium and E is a trivalent framework element such as aluminum or gallium. The SAPO-69 family of materials represent the first phosphate-based molecular sieves to have the OFF topology and have catalytic properties for carrying out various hydrocarbon conversion processes and separation properties for separating at least one component.
Catalyst and method for preparing light olefin using direct conversion of syngas
A catalyst for preparing light olefin using direct conversion of syngas is a composite catalyst and formed by compounding component I and component II in a mechanical mixing mode. The active ingredient of component I is a metal oxide; and the component II is one or more than one of zeolite of CHA and AEI structures or metal modified CHA and/or AEI zeolite. A weight ratio of the active ingredients in the component I to the component II is 0.1-20. The reaction process has high product yield and selectivity, wherein the sum of the selectivity of the propylene and butylene reaches 40-75%; and the sum of the selectivity of light olefin comprising ethylene, propylene and butylene can reach 50-90%. Meanwhile, the selectivity of a methane side product is less than 15%.
