A combination mower and edging device includes a chassis having a pair of front wheels, a pair of rear wheels and a pair of handlebars. An electric driving motor is connected to the rear wheels, and an electric mower motor is connected to a cutting blade that is positioned within an annular cutting chamber located beneath the chassis. An electric edging motor is coupled to a vertically oriented edging blade that is positioned along a distal end of an elongated support rod. The rod moves the edging blade between a raised and lowered configuration via a control lever on the handlebars. The mower motor, drive motor and edging motor are connected to an onboard controller and operated by user interface devices located along the handlebars. A housing encloses each of the motors and a collection bag is connected to an opening within the annular chamber to collect grass clippings.

A control system prevents the motor from being controlled by the operation assembly and halts the motor when the handle is located out of the predetermined position.

In an electric grass cutting machine relating to the present invention, an electric motor for driving a traveling device having a pair of left and right front wheels and a pair of left and right rear wheels and a gear transmission for speed-changing output from the electric motor and transmitting the resultant power to the traveling device are disposed between the left and right rear wheels and arranged one after the other in the front/rear direction at positions laterally of a conveying duct for guiding cut grass pieces from a rear discharge type mower device to a grass collecting container supported to a rear portion of a machine body frame.

In a work vehicle, a pivot axis of an operating lever and a rotary axis of a potentiometer are located on a same axis. An interlocking mechanism includes an input part which inputs power of the operating lever following the operating lever about the pivot axis as a pivot, and an output part which is supported to a rotary operation shaft and outputs power of the input part to the rotary operation shaft. The receptacle may include a plurality of bays, each bay having a receiver extending away from the bottom wall, the receiver configured to guide a battery pack within the bay, and a power connector spaced a distance from the bottom wall, the power connector configured to engage the pack connector to electrically couple the battery pack to the receptacle, where the receptacle is angled at an acute angle relative to an operating plane.

A ride-on outdoor power equipment, comprising a chassis a pair of front wheels coupled with the chassis, a pair of rear wheels coupled with the chassis, a mower deck supported by the chassis, and a battery assembly configured to power a drive motor. The battery assembly may include a plurality of battery packs, and a receptacle defined in part by a bottom wall. The receptacle may include a plurality of bays, each bay having a receiver extending away from the bottom wall, the receiver configured to guide a battery pack within the bay, and a power connector spaced a distance from the bottom wall, the power connector configured to engage the pack connector to electrically couple the battery pack to the receptacle, where the receptacle is angled at an acute angle relative to an operating plane.
