Furniture leg sock with stabilizer
09668575 · 2017-06-06 ·

A furniture leg protective sock is constructed of a stretchable/expandable non-friction material, which is double-layered to form an outer layer, an inner layer, and a gap therebetween. The furniture leg protective sock includes friction material which is located on the inner surface of the furniture leg protective sock and a stabilizing material, which is located in the gap between the inner surface of the inner layer and the inner surface of the outer layer, to provide rigidity and stretchability to furniture leg protective sock. The furniture leg protective sock also includes non-penetrating material, which is located in a bottom portion of the furniture leg protective sock to prevent a furniture leg from piercing through the furniture leg protective sock.

Hydraulic buffering leg cushion

A hydraulic buffering leg cushion is mounted to a supporting platform. The hydraulic buffering leg cushion includes a leg cushion body, a movable unit, and a fixed connecting member. The leg cushion body is provided with a leg cushion accommodating space, and includes an upper cover, and a lower cover. The movable unit is received in the leg cushion accommodating space, and includes a piston, a membrane assembly, a rubber bowl, and a movable portion. The rubber bowl is clamped, at its outer circumference, by and between the upper cover and the lower cover, so as to partition a damping accommodating space for receiving damping oil. The movable portion and the rubber bowl are pressed, in sequence, onto the piston. The piston is provided with a damping channel, and is connected with the lower cover through a restoring spring. The membrane assembly is disposed underneath the piston, and forms, with the piston, a one-way valve structure. The restoring spring passes through the membrane assembly. The fixed connecting member is fixedly arranged on the movable portion of the movable unit. As such, by using the supporting force of the restoring spring and the damping oil in the damping accommodating space for providing with buffering hydraulic pressure, a balance for the supporting platform can be adjusted automatically to a balance within an effective range for the supporting platform, without the need of a manual adjustment for a balance. This will ensure stability of the supporting platform without shaking easily.

POT SUPPORT WITH ELASTIC FOOT AND METHOD FOR FIXING ELASTIC FOOT TO A POT SUPPORT

The invention presents a solution to avoid glue when fixing an elastic foot to a pot support, such as used in ranges and kitchen hobs. The pot support (1000) has a cavity (2200) which is aligned with an elastic foot (1300) which comprises on the other hand a hollow space (3240). By inserting an expansion body (3220, 3450) into the hollow space, a press fit is generated between a support structure (1800) of the pot support and/or elastic material of the foot (1300). Rivets (3450) or bolts (3220) are taught as expansion bodies. The invention also teaches a method to mount an elastic foot to a pot support. The invention provides a solution for avoiding the deteriorating effects of aging glue used in the prior art, which leads to the loss of rubber feet on current pot supports.
