A reactor (12, 128, 198) and method for the conversion of hydrocarbon gases utilizes a reactor (12, 128, 198) having a unique feed assembly (58, 136, 200) with an original vortex disk-like inlet flow spaces (72, 74, 76, 80, 146, 148, 150, 152, 208, 216, 218), a converging-diverging vortex mixing chamber (116), and a cylindrical reactor chamber (40). This design creates a small combustion zone and an inwardly swirling fluid flow pattern of the feed gases that passes through a converging conduit (48) with a constricted neck portion (54). This provides conditions suitable for efficient cracking of hydrocarbons, such as ethane, to form olefins.

FLUID CATALYTIC CRACKING PROCESS FOR CRACKING MULTIPLE FEEDSTOCKS
A fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) process for cracking multiple feedstocks in a FCC apparatus comprising a first set of feed distributors having first distributor tips and a second set of feed distributors having second distributor tips is provided. A first feed is injected into the riser from first distributor tips. A second feed is injected into the riser from second distributor tips. The first distributor tips and the second distributor tips are positioned at different radii in the riser. The first feed and the second feed are cracked in the riser in the presence of an FCC catalyst to provide a cracked effluent stream. The first distributor tips and the second distributor tips are located into a region of lower catalyst density and a region of higher catalyst density respectively in the riser.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR VISCOSITY-REDUCING AND UPGRADING OF LOW-GRADE HEAVY OIL
Provided is a method and device for viscosity-reducing and upgrading of low-grade heavy oil. The method comprises: (a) performing visbreaking reaction on low-grade heavy oil raw material and controlling the content of toluene insolubles in the produced oil; (b) mixing the produced oil in step (a) with hydrogen in a gas-liquid mixer to obtain a hydrogen-oil mixture in liquid state, or mixing the produced oil in step (a) with hydrogen to obtain hydrogen-oil mixture in gas-liquid state; in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst, performing hydrogenation reaction on the hydrogen-oil mixture in liquid state or the hydrogen-oil mixture in gas-liquid state in the reactor, and obtaining a viscosity-reduced and upgraded oil after the reaction. It is viscosity-reducing and upgrading method by combining thermal visbreaking and fixed-bed hydrogenation, which can solve the problems of high viscosity, high density and poor stability of low-grade heavy oil products in the prior art.
Method and Reactor for Manufacturing Particles
A method for manufacturing particles including (a) bringing at least one starting material into a reactor, (b) subjecting the at least one starting material to a thermal treatment of a pulsating process gas stream in a treatment zone of the reactor, (c) forming particles, and (d) bringing the particles which are obtained in steps (b) and (c) out of the reactor. The at least one starting material is thermally treated in the treatment zone at a treatment temperature of 100° C. to 3000° C. and a retention time in the range of 0.1 s to 25 s, and temperature regulation of the process gas stream is decoupled from the generation and maintenance of a pulsation of the process gas stream. Also provided is a reactor for manufacturing particles according to the method.
Method and reactor for pyrolysis conversion of hydrocarbon gases
A pyrolysis reactor (12) and method for the pyrolysis of hydrocarbon gases (e.g., methane) utilizes a pyrolysis reactor (12) having a unique burner assembly (44) and pyrolysis feed assembly (56) that creates an inwardly spiraling fluid flow pattern of the feed gases to form a swirling gas mixture that passes through a burner conduit (46) with a constricted neck portion or nozzle (52). At least a portion of the swirling gas mixture forms a thin, annular mixed gas flow layer immediately adjacent to the burner conduit (46). A portion of the swirling gas mixture is combusted as the swirling gas mixture passes through the burner conduit (46) and a portion of combustion products circulates in the burner assembly (44). This provides conditions suitable for pyrolysis of hydrocarbons or light alkane gas, such as methane or natural gas.

Disclosed is a catalyst pre-contact method for the continuous polymerization of an olefin, wherein a primary catalyst, a co-catalyst and, optionally, an external electron donor are mixed and then undergo a pre-contact reaction, with the pre-contact reaction temperature being −30° C. to 35° C. and adjustable, and the pre-contact reaction time being 0.5 min to 10 min and adjustable, and the pre-contacted catalyst is brought into a catalyst prepolymerization system and then into a catalyst polymerization system, or is directly brought into the catalyst polymerization system. Further disclosed is a catalyst pre-contact device for the continuous polymerization of an olefin, which can adjust the pre-contact time and pre-contact temperature of the catalyst so that the performance of the catalyst achieves a better level according to the process.
