Desk apparatus
A desk apparatus is provided with a pair of leg members, each having two main leg member parts that are installed on a floor surface and extend in a vertical direction and that are connected to each other by means of a crosspiece portion at upper portions of the main leg member parts, and a pair of inner connecting rods and a pair of outer connecting rods that extend along a width direction and connect the upper portions of the pair of leg members. The inner connecting rods are connected together by bridge members so as to constitute connecting units. The connecting units are attachable to and detachable from a top plate support, and a first top plate unit is attachable to and detachable from the top plate support. This allows for the provision of a desk apparatus in which the first top plate unit and the connecting units are replaceable with different top plate units and different connecting units, and the aspects of the desk apparatus can be changed in accordance with a user's demands by keeping replacement of members to a necessary minimum.
SEAT TRACK FITTING
Embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for installing seats in a passenger vehicle using seat tracks and seat fittings. The seat track fittings may include a sleeve (22) with a cylindrical threaded opening (24), a double effect post (26) with an external lower thread (28) and an internal threaded portion (36). The external lower thread is configured to cooperate with the cylindrical threaded opening of the sleeve. The seat track fitting also has a track stud (38) with a lower flange (46) that is configured to cooperate with a seat track (10) and an upper external thread (42) configured to cooperate with the internal threaded portion of the double effect post. The double effect post external lower thread and the track stud external thread have inverse hands, such that rotation of the double effect post tightens the post and the track stud simultaneously.

TRACK FITTING FOR AIRCRAFT SEATS
Described are seat track fittings (100) with a stud (102) having a spacer (104) separated from a lower flange (106), and a locking mechanism (110). The locking mechanism includes an elastic fitting (112) having an upper arm (116a) and a lower arm (116b) connected by a resilient member (120). An end of the upper arm and an end the lower arm are coupled to the stud, with the end of the upper arm positioned above the spacer, and the end of the lower arm positioned above the lower flange. An activation mechanism (114) is coupled to the elastic fitting to transition the seat track fitting between unloaded, unlocked, and locked positions.

Stationary restraint system for police structures
A supplemental restraint system that is mountable to the frame of a stationary structure, such as a police station or other building, to secure a prisoner in a seated position. The supplemental restraint system includes a restraint bar that is pivotally supported on the mounting plate for movement between a raised inoperative position and a lowered operative position. A locking mechanism secures the restraint bar in any selected lowered position and includes an actuation lever for selectively releasing the locking mechanism to permit the restraint bar to be raised for release of the prisoner. A spring mechanism biases the restraint bar toward a raised position so that the restraint bar can be moved upwardly while the police officer is outside of the police vehicle. Mounting plates can be utilized to secure the supplemental restraint system to the floor structure and an adjacent wall structure.

Method and apparatus and for restraint anchor
An anti-ligature restraint device is provided. The device includes a tub secured to a mounting location. A sealing element is inserted into the tub. The sealing element includes a restraint element slot to which a restraint is secured when the device is in an open position. The sealing element is disposed entirely with the tub in the closed position. A spring within the tub provides resistance to the sealing element as it is pushed into the tub and rotated to secure the sealing element within the tub. A lid lock secures the sealing element in the closed position. The device may be used in the concrete floor of a hospital room. In the open position, the device secures patient restraints. In the closed position, the device is flush with its mounting surface and locked, thereby preventing patient tampering or access to harmful elements thereof.
